Chapter 35~
You hear a door open from behind you "jc!" Kian yells. "Where were you." Jc looks at you and you shake you head. Jc hesitates to find what lie he'll use. "Just trying to find more girls." Kian rolls his eyes and you giggle. "Well Mallory got in a wreck. "I can see that." Jc says looking at you from head to toe. "It's really late I should get to bed." You say. "Do you need anything?" Kian says still sad. Jc leaves the room and you get closer to Kian. "It's okay." You say in a soft voice. "Ju- just don't do it again." "Never." Kian says hugging you. You and Kian head down stairs to sleep. -you wake up in the middle of the night because your leg hurts. You head upstairs to watch the lake view. Once you open the door you see Jc already sitting out there. He turns his head back and smiles. You grab a chair and slide it over next to his. "So." Jc says. "I'm sorry, I wasn't being responsible. Kians my boyfriend I can't be in a relationship with his best friend." Me and Jc are almost shoulder to shoulder just gazing at the big bright lake. Jc turns to look at me. I try not to look at him but I do anyways, I feel like it was a need. I turn to my left and automatically Jc softly kisses me. His lips are cold from the breeze hitting against us. It only had lasted a few seconds and he looks at me and smiles. "What if Kia-" "he won't find out." Jc says cutting me off. We hold each other's cold hands and watch the lake for the rest of the night. -you wake up sitting in the chair. Jc is gone and you look around worried if Kian knows. You shuffle back into the house and Kian isn't up yet, a relief rushes through you.
