{22} the check list.

Chapter 22~
"Hello?" He answers in a scratchy voice. "Kian baby, I need your help." You know he starts to take things seriously now. "What is it?" "I want to run away. My dad doesn't treat me good. I want to be with you." There's a long awkward pause. "I'll be there in 10 min." He says. You hang up and get up to open your closet. You grab the first bag you see. The pink sparkly duffle bag. You toss it on your bed and start to grab your whole closet and stuff it In the bag. After you have packed most of your cloths you look around for things you need. You run through your head what you have.
Toothbrush/toothpaste✅
Hairbrush✅
Makeup✅
Plenty of cloths✅
Charger✅
Swimsuit✅
Hair stuff✅
Then you remember what it was you forgot, num nums! Num nums has been by your side since fourth grade. He's a small manatee who has lost one eyeball and a flipper. But he's still in good enough shape to be loved on. You stuff him in your bag and zip the bag closed. You put it over your shoulder and it feels like 30 pounds but that doesn't matter to you, as long as you get out. You get out of the window and close it behind you. You look at your room one last time and your eyes go big.
