PARTY

What to wear....What to wear. I thought to myself. Since my dad wasn't home I got to go to this party no problem.

But the bad thing is I have no clue what to wear to a party on the beach at dark.

I was beginning to stress when my phone went off saying I got a text.

Kyle: Hey I will b at ur house in 30

Nicole: What do I wear? I was thinking a bikini with shorts and a tanktop on over that.

Kyle: Yeah! Sounds good ;-)

I smiled at the winky face.

Then walk over to my closet.

I picked out a neck tie blue bikini with yellow pokadots.

Then purple mid thigh shorts.And a white tanktop.

Then I pulled my hair into a high ponytail.

Then applied a little bit of water proof makeup.

And put on my orange flip flops.

Just as I got done the doorbell rang.

I ran downstairs. And answered the door, and smiled at Kyle. He smiled back.

"Hey ready to go?" He said.

"Yup."I said back popping the p.

He chuckled. As we walked out to his car.

After we pulled out of my driveway he started to talk.

"I just want to warn you about Nick, my friend the playboy."

"Ok."I said.

"He can be a little selfish, cocky,a bastered and the list goes on, but once you get to know him he's great."Kyle said. But he looked nervous.

"It's ok."I said to reassure him.

He just smiled.

"Oh and Nicole before I forget I DON'T drink."

"Good because neither do I." I laughed.

He smiled at me showing his perfect teeth.

After that we got out of the car.

It was a little after sunset, but not to dark because of the lights everywhere.

Me and Kyle walked over to where his friends stood.

Him and his "bro's" did that manly hand shake thing and he greeted the girls with a smile.

Then he turned to me.

"Guys this is Nicole, she's here on summer vacation with her dad."

They all smiled at me, I just smiled back.

Kyle and the dudes started talking and the girls came over to me.

"Hey I'm Skyler", the one with brown hair and freckles said, "this is Morgan" Skyler said Morgan has blonde hair and dimples, "and this is Emma", Emma had red hair and purplish grayish eyes.

All of them were beautiful.

"Hey." I smiled.

"So Nicole we are all going to be bestfriends!" Exclaimed Emma and me and the other girls started to laugh. Even Emma did.

*****Kyle's pov ******

I can't stop looking at Nicole, there was something about her that told me she was different. Like her eyes, they showed confidence but also they looked sad, sacred, and lost. Like someone hurt her. And I needed to figure out who.

Nicole is beautiful and...I don't know mysterious.

Later tonight I'm going to go I a walk with her and ask her to be mine. Yea I know it's a little soon but I really like her.

The smile slid from my lips when I saw a drunk Nick walk over to her just as the girls were leaving to get drinks. But since Nicole doesn't drink she stayed behind.

*****Nichols pov*******

I watch as my new friends walk away and turn around only to hit something.

I look up. oh crap, it was a person.

And he was drunk. I hate drunk people because when my father's drunk that's when the beatings are the worst.

I start to back up only to be grabbed by the waist.

"Hey pretty girl where you going?" He slurred.

"Um....Um..." I say lost for words.

"Well I could take you somewhere if you know what I mean" he winked at me.

Oh god no. Please no....No....No.

Just then Kyle steps in.

Thank god.

"Nick back off."Kyle hissed and I flinched at his voice. But he didn't notice. Oh so this was the friend he was warning me about.

"Just trying to have fun..jeez.." Nick slurred. Putting his hands up like Kyle was a cop.

"Yea well go have fun somewhere else."Kyle hissed again and this time he saw me flinch and his face softened.

With that Kyle took me by the hand gently and led me on a walk.

Once we got away from the noise and party Kyle started talking.

"Sorry about Nick." Kyle said meaning it

"It's absolutely fine."I smile

He smiles back.

Kyle is a really great guy. I  think I have a crush on him....

I was interrupted from my thoughts when Kyle said

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

At first I was startled but then got excited,I have only had one boyfriend and that ended out..well anyway that's a story for later.

"Yes." I smile feeling oh so happy.

He smiles right back but bigger.

"We have to get to know each other." I say.

"I know."he smirks very sexually.

"Can I kiss you?"He asked

"Can applys if you are capable of doing it may asks the question." I say being stubborn.

He chuckles

"May I."

But before I have time to answer his lips are on mine and we are in a makeout session.

But before we could go any further I pull away, out of breath.

After that he drives me back to my condo.

Once we pull up into my driveway he gets out and comes to my side and opens the door, and takes my hand.

I smile at our hands.

He walks me to the door kisses my goodnight and walks back to his car and drives away.

That's when I realize my dad's car is in the driveway and he is home six days early, he is suppose to be gone for a week! Oh god if he saw me with Kyle I am dead!
