I ran down the stairs to greet my new family to the home warming gift of freshly baked food sitting atop of the dinner table. I was reluctant to kiss my new-be-found husband, while his brother(Michael, my ex)was watching me cautiously. He had quite a puzzled expression spread across his face, but I didn't get to study it for too long for I was cut off by muscles surrounding my body with great warmth.

"Hey babe", his voice so strong.

I couldn't believe I actually got to marry such a handsome guy, but looks don't always matter. I first met him after I had went through a horrible break up with Michael. We went everywhere together. And now that I think about it, I don't think I was really in love with Treasure. I mean he's handsome and all, but I don't think I really wanted him. We're only human to assume the best of a rocking body with tight, compacted abs.

He turned me to where I was now facing him and as I looked into those deep silver, gleaming eyes, I saw something other than love. I saw a sign of cautions. It was like he was giving me a warning or something. Then there came our kiss.

It was the best one he had given me since we got married. I loved the way his tongue intertwined with mine.

"You guys it's no time to play kissy face.", Michael was staring at me in disgust. "Mom wants us all in the kitchen, she has a big announcement", he said as flat as a door nail.

After we finished our greetings in the living room, Treasure and I walked into the kitchen. All around me I saw happy faces, obviously craving to dig into the fabulous dinner awaiting us onto the table. We connected hands and said our prayers. Each of us had a turn, but when it came to me I stood there dumbfounded and my face turn red.

Michael gave a little chuckle and took my place in the circle. I went last of course and based most of my words off of what the others ave said. I don't think anybody caught on.

" Guys I want you all to know that I'm going to be leaving in a couple of days and I wont be coming back." Mama Jeen said with teary eyes. "I don't need any questions right now so don't ask any thing about the fact that you healthy, beautiful, adults will be left alone and I expect you guys to take care of each other." She smile a hearty smile.

"What, you're dying?" I asked

"What! No of course not! I'm just saying I'm not coming back. I'm moving to Hawaii."

I guess I was the only one that didn't know, because everybody else was laughing and enjoying the meal.

I was finally relieved to see that everybody was enjoying the dinner I had made them. They were savages. Chewing and swallowing almost created a rhythm in my head. It must have showed on my face because now Treasure was staring at me.

"What?", I questioned him

"Nothing just admiring how pretty you are. And how cheesy your face just looked.", he joked.

"You know its rude to stare even if its at beauty.", a smile spread across my face.

"You kids grow up so fast. It was almost like yesterday I was picking out Michael's and Treasure's clothes.",Mama Jeen sighed at the thought of that, and I could have sworn I saw her eyes gleam.

After everybody got all washed up we headed to our rooms.Since Treasure had night shifts at work, I was left in the bed alone like most nights.

There was a giant knock on the door and it cracked open. I didn't dare say I word. I didn't know who would be up late at this hour.

Stacy (Michael's little sister) tip-toed in and whispered my name,

"Jenni are you awake?"

"Yeah, Stace what are you doing up at this time of night?" My voice was rough from the lack of sleep.
