Victoria's P.O.V.
"Baby, come on, we need to get up, we'll miss our flight."
Groan.
"Aw, come on."
My body is hoisted into the air and cold air harasses my bare skin. I blink my eyes frantically in attempt to wake up.
"Good morning," my husband chuckles.
"Shut up," I whine, snuggling into his chest.
"I made breakfast, I was hoping you'd wake up on your own."
"Aw, Toby cooked for a change," I tease, wiggling from his arms and standing to the ground.
He rolls his eyes and laughs a bit before leaning over the counter and grabbing two plates of eggs and pancakes. He hands me one and I thank him.
"Mm," I hum through a mouthful. "What time is it?"
Toby checks his phone before stuffing it back in his pocket, "8:30. Flight leaves at 10 and the airport is a ten to thirty minute drive depending on the traffic."
I nod and finish off my breakfast in order to get dressed and get a few things done before heading out. Toby had already had his jeans on so I figure he was waiting on me. I try to get my hair decent looking and pack a couple outfits for both Toby and I because I guess he hadn't packed; I usually do that for him.
It's about 8:50 when I get finished. Toby's sitting on the couch, fiddling away at his iPad, sadly, not recording any videos. He's set aside his YouTube channel a lot since we got married, it's kind of depressing. That's one of the reasons I fell in love with him.
His silly videos and all of his accents, his angers and his frustrations; it was honestly the cutest thing I'd ever seen. He gave up on making videos long ago, even when we were dating, he didn't make as many videos. I'm not going to blame him, I haven't either. The guilt gnaws away at my stomach but the fans have to realize that I do have a life, that I have problems to deal with and a husband and dog to care for, I don't have all the free time in the world; even when I do have free time, I'm busy with bills or cleaning up the house, something housewife-y.
That's not really the biggest issue I'm dealing with right now. Toby and I are flying out to meet our parents, since they agreed to meet up together and have a dinner together.
"Toby, we need to get going, the airport is an a half hour away."
His hazel eyes separate from his screen and crash into mine as he locks the tablet and tosses it into his suitcase. Grabbing two of the strapped bags in his hands, he leaves me a rolling suitcase and we set off as I sweep up Gryphon into my arms.
Toby opens the trunk and loads his bags in while I set Gryphon in the backseat of the car, pushing the button to order the roof to slide up. I travel around the back of the car and place my bag in the bag as Toby sets the engine to life.
I quickly close the trunk and rush into the passenger's seat. We buckle our seat belts and Gryphon leaps into my lap, immediately settling down and resting his head on his paws. I chuckle slightly as I stroke his head and Toby gives me a "You ready for this?" look. Nodding, he takes off down the road.
I pace uneasily, running my hair through my messy hair.
"Babe, it's going to be okay." I hear Toby say softly as he grabs my wrist and gently pulls my into his chest, where I bury my face into his shirt and he kisses my head, holding me close.
"It's going to be fine, you don't have to worry so much, babygirl. It'll be fine, okay? I promise."
"Promise is a big word, Toby."
