HINATA'S POV
"K-Kageyama... th-there's something I need to tell you" I said while trying to avoid eye contact with him. "Well it's just that... you know how when someone gets to a certain age... they have decisions to make and have to grow up."
"You're not gonna give me the sex talk are you?"
"W-what?!" Crap Im blushing! How can he say such things?! "No of course not, dumbass!"
"Then get on with it."
"I-I've decide to move to America"
"..."
"N-New York to be more specific."
"W-what?! Why?! When?!"
"I got a scholarship to NYU and at the end of summer."
"... I-I see. That's soon, very soon."
Ahhhh! This what I was afraid of.
I don't want him to be upset.
"Yeah...but hey! At least we get to spend the rest of summer together. We can make some great memories before I leave. And when I'm in America, we'll text all the time. Before you know it, I'll be back for Christmas break."
"P-promise?"
"Promise."

KAGEYAMA'S POV
Why do I care so much that he's leaving? It's not like we're on the greatest terms with each other. I mean we're friends but we're not exactly close I think. But I want to be close to him... a lot closer. Wait, what did I just say?!
Weird.
"Kageyama, we should start making preparations for the party. My mom wants me back for dinner."
"R-right. The party." I guess I kind of zoned out for a minute.
"Hey Kags!"
"Don't ever call me that again."
"I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go with me to the beach one of these days? You know, before I leave."
"Sure. Sounds not totally awful."
He punched me in the arm at that comment and I couldn't help but laugh at how worked up he got. It's kind of cute... really cute. What is going on with me today?! This is totally weird.  Whatever it's probably noting.
