Chapter Eleven

Mwahaha I love cliffhangers, unless they're in other people's stories.
Warning: Attempted suicide (???)

It was 11 pm when Dean got the call. It was Gabriel, he was screaming about how Cas had overdosed on anxiety meds and was in the hospital and they wouldn't let him in. He said if Dean had anything to do with this he'd kick his nuts clean off. Dean freaked out, grabbed Sam, and rushed to the hospital. Gabriel hadn't told him which one so he just went to the one closest to Cas' house.

He ran up to the front desk, Sam close behind him, and asked for Castiel Novak. The nurse pointed him in the direction of Cas' room. He and Sam weaved through nurses, doctors, patients, and family members to get to the room. They found Gabriel slumped in a hospital chair looking sad and angry at the world. He jumped up when he saw them.  "Those bastards aren't letting me in!" Sam calmed Gabriel down, they had become surprisingly close friends, and they all sat in uncomfortable hospital chairs.

A while later a nurse came out and said they could see him. She barely finished her sentence before Gabe practically shoved her out of the way and dashed into the room. Sam and Dean followed behind him, only Sam was polite enough to apologize to the nurse.

They saw Cas sitting up in the hospital bed, pale as ever and looking miserably at the IV. He looked up at Gabe's face and sighed, "I didn't mean to," he said softly, "I accidentally took too many." Gabe hugged him tightly, when he pulled away he smacked Cas across the back of his head, "Don't ever do that again!" Cas smiled and rubbed his head. When he looked around the room and saw Dean and Sam he said, "Hey Sam. Guys could I have a moment with Dean?" "You guys have tons of moments. Ship ittt!" Gabe said in a sing songy voice. Cas rolled his eyes and pushed Gabe's back. "Don't touch the tush!" He yelled as he and Sam exited the room.

Dean rushed over to Cas and hugged him. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Cas hugged back, "It's okay." Dean climbed into the hospital bed, so he was basically straddling Cas. He cupped Cas' face in his hands and took a deep breath. It was time. "Castiel James Novak, I am in love with you," he said softly. Cas' eyes went wide, Dean thought he was going to have another panic attack, but instead he pulled Dean's head down and kissed him softly. Dean semi gasped and Cas chuckled quietly. They kissed for a while and Dean accidentally bucked his hips up. Cas pulled back and giggled, "Dean! Really? I'm in the hospital!" Dean blushed furiously, "I- I'm sorry." Cas just giggled again.

After a while Dean was lying down on the hospital bed, Cas' head on his chest. He was playing with Cas' hair. "I lied you know," he said. "About what?" "I said I was bi, I'm actually straight." "But you said you love me."  "I do. I guess I'm just cassexual." Cas laughed. "I guess so."

"Dean?"

"Hmm?"

"I love you too, by the way."

Dean had never been happier.

But they forgot about one thing, Adam.

Seeeee, it's happy now. Anyway. They're together now, and it only took 11 chapters!
