"Before we start this tour, you need to be able to blend into our towns. You can borrow clothing from us that will help you," Brennan said, facing our group. "Harley and Joy can get you what you need."

Harley motioned for Kai, Anderson, Garrett, and William to follow him. The three guys followed the red dressed blonde boy towards a room where I assume they can find appropriate attire. Joy summoned Marcee who then led Nalia away in the other direction. Left in the hall now was Brennan, Joy, and myself.

"Who is that boy, Alyssa?" he asked as we walked towards my room. "I have been monitoring him since he set foot in HQ, but all I know is his name."

"He is William Vance," I explained, "and he found his way towards headquarters claiming he wanted to fight against August and his Graes because of his mother's death. I don't believe that the story he told is one hundred percent the truth. There is something big he is hiding from us."

"This secret, I could always peel it from him." Brennan chuckled when I shook my head vehemently. "There is certainly a beautiful fighting spirit within him. He is also not so bad to look at."

Rolling my eyes, I nudged Brennan's shoulder with my own. "I don't think you are his type."

"Oh darling girl, I know that boy only has eyes for you."

"Even so it would be safer if his eyes wandered in a different direction."

A sigh escaped my friend's lips. He knew not to argue but I also knew what his argument would be. Nothing he could say would matter any way. August and Nathan would never allow me to have a love life. They are the reason why I don't outright call people my friends. Depending upon the length of time someone has known me, they just might understand their importance to me. I just hope they can hold out to hear the words directly from me for after I save my brother and defeat August.

"Darling Co-Captain, change into the clothes I had laid out for you and meet us back in the main hall. Alright?"

I nodded and entered my room. When I exited I was wearing the clothes Brennan had chosen; a cream linen shirt tucked into a pair of tight black pants with my boots. My hair was pulled out of my face; half up, half down.

"Shall we get this tour over with?"

We all convened in the main hall. Brennan stood at my side as we stood before the others.

"Any questions before we begin?"

"How did you come up with this facility?" Anderson asked.

"It was an original concept from Alexander Rinehart but due to his untimely passing, Richard and Alyssa were the ones who actually helped create it."

"Alyssa?" Garrett said in surprise looking my way.

I nodded. "Yes, I am the co-head of this training facility."

"Is that why you make regular trips out here?" Anderson question earnestly.

"Yes. Anything else?"

Andy looked like he had something else to say but held his tongue. Everyone else shook their heads no to answer. Feeling satisfied no one had more to say, we began the tour. I pointed to the large staircase that came down from the front door.

"As you have probably guessed, the front entrance opens to the basement only rather than the first floor. That was a choice we made in hopes of making this place more secure. The basement is not only the main hall but the security headquarters."
