Wow.
It really is amazing how five words can turn everything upside-down, huh? Especially when those five words are "You will be my Padawan." Even more so when they're said by Master Skywalker. As soon as we entered the Council room, Master Skywalker said those shocking five words. And, of course, what was the first thing I did?
I fainted.
I woke up in a bright white room. Blinking my eyes open, I saw Master Skywalker sitting next to me.
"Was all that a dream?" I asked.
"No, it was not a dream, little one."
"So I'm really...y-y-your Padawan?"
"Yes. And we already have our first mission," she said, motioning me to stand up. I stood up and followed her for the second time that day to the Council room. We walked in and she took her seat. She motioned at me to sit down in an empty chair.
"There have been strange sightings on Mustafar. Sightings of a creature with a lightsaber. A red lightsaber." Here Master Pay Nal paused, waiting for his words to sink in.
"Our mission," Master Skywalker began, "is to see it there is any truth in these rumors. And, if there is, to dispose of the Sith."
I gasped. I couldn't believe it! My first mission as a Padawan, and I was going to destroy a Sith! I was sure that this was going to be fun.
