"I-" Stephanie starts to stutter out. "I can't believe how rude she is." She whispers. I turn to my staircase and look up at my room. "My room's up here." She follows but she looks like she's confused. I know I act all cool with this situation. Yeah, it happens all the time! But it's not like she should worry for me.
I walk into my room with posters of Jacksepticeye and skulls with any hipster or the most punk decoration I could possibly find in a lame giveaway. From the old crazy lady, who we all knew had something other than herbs in her tea. "Wow, sweat room, bruh!" Stephanie says as I crash onto my bed dropping my bag on the floor. "Just put your bag next to mine, if you want." I say. Great, now before she knows about me capture her.
What? No, why and how would she find out about you?
They do, they always do. What on Earth is wrong with my head? I shouldn't be having two way conversations all the time. "So, you a fan of Jacko-Boy?" Steph asks. I look up to her confused. Her arms are crossed and she's tapping her foot with a painted smirk on her face. Then I remember my posters. "Oh, uh yeah. Are you?" I say.
"Duh, who isn't these days? Jack is so BOSS!" She replies with her fists clenched in the air bringing her elbows down to her sides. "Haha, I know right?" We giggle and quickly calm down. "So, uh." She starts. "Did you have any friends in your old town?" Stephanie asks. I don't think I did, well exept for one. "Yeah! Her name's Izzie and we met online, then I found out she's my bully at my school. So now we're the best of friends!" I say smiling so brightly. I miss her. "She's probably online right now! I'll text her!" I grab my phone and pat my bed to invite Steph onto it. She sinks down without the smirk on her face anymore. Is she sad that I have someone else.
Don't say anything. "Are you ok, Steph?" I ask, ignoring Leana.
"Uh. pfft yeah! Uh. So back to Izzie." Stephanie replies tearing up. What, why is she doing that? I'm so sorry.
I told you to be quiet, silly. I look down to my phone on messages texting Izzie. "Out of school yet? Or online?" I text and instantly another message comes back.
"Waitn 4 u y"
"I've got a friend here you should meet!" I get a face time call from her. "Hay, gurl!" I answer. "Hay, guuuurl!" Said a red haired and caremalled skinned teenager wearing the cutest top and biggest glasses ever. "Who's this girl dat ya met my friend?" She asks. I tilt the camera towards Stephanie. "Uh, h-hi." Oh shoot, I think Stephanie isn't all that used to sassy peeps like Izzie.
Or people at all. "Hay, I'm Izzie but, everyone calls me Sassy Dash." Izzie says.
"Thanks for being friends with my little hipster girl."
"Uh, n-no problems, friend?" Stephanie shyly replies. We wait a couple of seconds without talking. Ok, I need to break the awkward silence. "So, How was school?" I ask Izzie.
"Ugh, It's so lame without you." She complains. "Anyway, Dungeon Kings?" Izzie asks inviting me to a game, 'Dungeon Kings'. "Nah, Ima hang out with Steph."
"Then Ima stay with you girls and talk bout what you's are." Great, just the four of us then. "Cool, we should talk bout what?" I ask. The silence drops by again as we all think about what to do. Even Leana is silent. "Uh...." Stephanie starts. "Maybe talk about relationships?" This is very common for her to talk about this now. Is she one of those people?
No. "Fine." Izzie says. "I have had no crush even till this moment."
"Me either." I say but Izzie can't keep her mouth shut.
"Yes you have! That boy in 4th grade, I made fun of you since he was my best friend." By this point I'm quickly slashing my hand across my neck to signal to stop. But she keeps rambling on about my primary crush who, by the way, I thought he was kind and was the only good person in her group not enough to love him! You loved him though.
No I did not!
Did to! "Stop!" Hehe, good work, Puppet.
"Ok fine, I'm just saying that it looked like you had a thing for him." Izzie states. "Now, Stephanie?"
"I haven't had a crush, all the boys are so weird." She states and we all giggle. (Yes I know we giggle a lot but this story world it's a funny!) "So I guess its just the four of us." What the-
Shut it , Puppet. They'll find out about something. "Oh yeah, how's that little birdy?" Izzie asks looking in the background of the cramera. "Oh uh." I turn behind me to see Plushie flapping around in his cage. "He's the same as usual."
"Oh you have a bird." Steph relizes.
"Yeah, by the way, he hasn't had as crush." I answer.
