Nate POV

The sound of these cars honking are getting on my nerves. Like can you chill out? The light barely turned green in 0.038373 seconds and your already honking.

Lucky for them, They have a car. Unlike me I have to walk everywhere. I mostly cross the street when the light is green and I always have the 'bitch you better stop' face every time I do it because why not troll with people?

Walking around these tall building with people that finished college is giving me anxiety for some odd reason. I'm not even close to done and I'm already stressed. I try not to show it but it gets to me at times.

While daydreaming I come across this alley with a bunch of street looking girls and I approached them. Maybe they know something about this Lottie girl.

"Hey. Do y'all know a girl named Lottie?" I asked. "Lottie?" One of the girls said. She had red hair and black lipstick. "Yeh. Lottie. Black hair, pale, dimples" I said with a feeling that they may know her. "Maybe we do, maybe we don't" she said while rubbing her fingers, indicating that she wants money in order for her to answer a simple question. "I don't have money" I said truthfully since princess over here stole my wallet. "Well we know nothing" she said while pretending to zip her lips. "Maybe you can pay a different way" the other girl said winking while chewing her gum like a cow. "Um. Hell no and bye" I say walking away. And got stopped by a dude who was apparently behind me all the time and I didn't noticed. "Why you looking for her?" He asked looking all tough, but he didn't scare me. I bet he's a little pussy. "She jacked me and I want my shit back" I said straight up and he chuckled. "Typical Lottie, well I don't know were she is but I know she goes to the university that's around here" he said lighting a cigarette and me holding my breath because I hate the smell of smoke. "Thanks for the info" I said and walked away before I could catch the odor.

I walked back to my dorm thinking about this girl that goes to the same school as me but I never noticed.  Maybe I just never seen her, but she sure did catch my attention.

Nik POV

And the bell rings once again as I'm about to leave. Now I gotta attend this person when it's already my time to leave. I turn around to take the order and notice it was Lottie. "Surprise" she said with jazz hands. "Are you gonna jack me again?" I asked sarcastically. "No, but I felt bad so I'm bringing your wallets back" she said and I snatched it out of her hands and walked away with the bell ringing as I walked out the doors of the coffee shop. "Your welcome" she said and I noticed she was right behind me. "I didn't thank you" I said checking my wallet and  saw that my 50 dollars where gone. "Oh, I kinda kept the money" She said and I stopped on my tracks and turned to face her. She was smiling with her hands in her back as if she was an innocent child that hasn't done anything wrong.

"Fine, keep them I didn't need that anyways" I say and turned back around continuing my walk to the dorm. "Sorry I needed to buy some books, not everyone has rich parents" she said and debated in wether or not to turn around. "I don't have rich parents" I say and turned the corner. "Just by looking at you I can see you are a spoiled teen" I hear her say when I stopped again and faced her. "I'm not spoiled and I'm not rich. Why do you think I even work?" I say in a duh voice. "Well, you dress well, you smell good, you have money and you are very good looking. Good looking guys are often rich" she said looking at me up and down making me bite my lip while checking her out too and stopped at her lips staring at them making me feel some type of way. "I'm not rich" I said and proceeded to my walk before I make the mistake of kissing her plum lips.  

I didn't hear a response so I turned around and notice she was gone.

Hopefully I'll see her again.

"Here" I said throwing Nate's wallet at him while walking through the door and locking it behind me. "You found her?" He said sounding a bit disappointed. "No, she came back to the cafe and gave them to me but she still stole my 50 dollars" I say taking off my clothes and changing into something comfortable. Nate was only wearing sweats and I proceeded to do the same except I put on shorts. "What a surprise. You're doing homework" I say to him and he rolls his eyes. "I don't wanna be stupid and broke. I rather be smart and broke" he says and I chuckled. "Ima take a nap before I go to class" I say and get myself comfortable. "Okay, Ima go to the library. I need some books, plus the wifi is better there" he said putting his laptop, papers and books in his backpack and walking out the door locking it behind him.
