Verbatim

~Morning

Third POV

Waking up to the sun shining in his face with an alarm clock beeping in his left ear. "What a peachy way to start my day" he whispers to himself trying so hard not to look directly at the sun. Note the sarcasm. His identical twin brother is a few feet away on the phone with Nash his father and still barely half awake.

"Nate I told you to wake up at 7 and it's almost 9!" Nash said disappointed at Nate for not waking up on time. "Sorry dad. I didn't hear the alarm" he lied because he never actually set his alarm clock. "Great now you have to wait until next week for another interview" Nash said and Nate rolled his eyes. "Dad it's fine I'll look for another job later" Nate said to Nash just so he would calm down.

"Fine. I'll see you soon. Love ya" He said and hung up.

"Did you seriously miss another interview?" Nik asked Nate. "Obviously I missed the interview since I'm still here" he said with a duh voice and Nik rolled his eyes. Something typical they always do since they learned from their mother. "I have class at 10 so I'll just go to sleep again" Nate said and  jumped to his bed cuddling his pillow and smiling at Nik. "Don't be late. College isn't free" Nik said and got up to change still looking at Nate and very disappointed in how much he doesn't care. Even though they are identical they are completely different.

Nik is the most responsible one and Nate is the mostly just a rebel. Nik believes he just want to live the 'College life' as in parties, hook ups, leather jackets, drugs and alcohol but Nate doesn't drink or does drugs. He just pretends so he can fit in. You know. Those who carry the red cup that has 'liquor' but in reality it's just water. But in Nate's case it's chicken soup in a red cup and fake cigarettes.

Nik's definition on 'College life' is way different than Nate's. For Nik. It's stress, work, study, stress, study more and more stress. However, Nik isn't a nerd and Nate isn't a bad boy but they are pretty popular. Any girl would die to be with them but they aren't fuckboys  either.

Nik works at a coffee shop and Nate is currently unemployed due to him pretending to be bad. I know what you may think. Oh Nate's fake. No. He just feels like he doesn't fit in and he needs to do certain stuff to be like everyone else. That's one of his flaws

Being different.

"I can get you a job at the Joss" Nik said to Nate trying to help him out but he's just stubborn. ("Joss Cafe" the coffee shop)

"I can get a job on my own. I don't wanna be a barista...busboy" He said and Nik rolled his eyes. "I tried" he said under his breath and walked out the door wearing his job uniform which consist of black pants, black shirt, black shoes, a black apron and baseball hat that says 'Jass Cafe'.

While Nik is serving coffee. Nate is just in a deep slumber.

Short chapter but I promise it would get better 😊
