Chapter 8

“Jade!” I shouted into the intercom.  We had been there for 46 minutes shouting down the intercom, but we knew it was useless. Jade was at work and we would have to wait till 7 o’ clock before she got home. “What’s the time?” I asked Star, who was lazily sitting on her backside on top of her bag. She got out her phone and waited for it to turn on. When it turned on she proceeded to check her text messages. Flipping child! “Oi! Time!” I said/shouted irritably. “Oh yeah, sorry.” She muttered, obviously not meaning it, before telling me it was 4.12 pm. “Flip! So where the hell are we going to stay for the next three hours?” I grumbled, leaning against a cold hard brick wall. Urgh! This is so annoying. I just wanted to lie down for the next two weeks, maybe catch up on Glee or something. I wanted to start now. “Chelly? Is that your sexy ass?” Oh no, not him, not “Trey, what do you want now?” I asked, not really interested in what he wanted. “Well, the same thing I wanted this morning. You. ” He replied, almost making me puke in the process. I mean, cheesy or what! “Get lost Trey, I’m not in the mood for you right now.” I said, signalling Star to follow me as I started walking off.

“Hey, I heard what you did for your friends.” I stopped mid step and turned to face him.

“I swear if you even think of telling anyone the truth, I will destroy you and your family jewels. Permanently.”

“Chill out, Ice queen. I won’t tell anybody, I just thought it was really brave of you to do something like that. You could have been excluded for that prank.”He said walking up to me. I could almost smell his sexy cologne. Stupid hormonal thoughts!!

“I know I could of but it was my fault in the first place. I was the one who thought it up and dragged everyone into it; it’s only fair that I took the blame.” I explained as he came closer until he was in front of me, just outside my bubble. “Still, I think you were really brave.”

“Thanks.” I replied, a blush slightly creeping onto my cheeks. What the hell is he doing to me?

“Are you blushing?” Star said, coming up from behind me.

“No! Chelsea Vanessa Andrews does not fxcking blush!” I denied, does this child not know when to shut up! Even though she's only a year younger, she has the mouth of a 12 year old sometimes!!

“Fine! It was just a question! Sheesh.” Star replied, before looking at Trey weirdly. “ So... You live close?” She asked, looking at Trey expectantly. Oh, hell no! She better not be doing what I think she is. “Yeah, I live right over here.” He replied, pointing at Jades flats. Fxck! Star, don’t ask him. Don’t ask him. Don’t you dare ask him! “That's great! Can we crash at yours for a bit?” She asked him! Why would she ask him?! Okay, Calm down Chelsea he didn’t say yes. He might say no. “Sure, no problem. My parents are out anyway.” Damn. “Err...that’s alright, really! I’m sure you’re really busy with homework and such, we don’t want to be a distraction to you so erm yeah, we’ll just chill at Paris’ house and you go do your thing, OK? Okay, C’mon Star let’s go.” I babbled while pulling Star’s arm to follow me. “What the flip Chels, Paris lives 20 minutes away and the guy said no problem. So why the hell are we going to walk for 20 minutes when his house is literally right there?” my little sister complained. Child, if you don’t shut up! Suddenly I felt someone wrap their hands around my waist and pull me into their back. “Just stay, Chelsea. Please?” Trey’s deep husky voice whispered into my ear, his cool, minty breath breathing on my neck. I shuddered involantarily and turned around in his arms and for once I didn’t see that smirk on his lips but just a friendly smile. His sparkling eyes were burning into mine as if this question meant more than just an invitation. “O-okay” I whispered back. Get a grip Chels! What was that? I shook my head and moved out of his embrace. Then I turned away from him “Yeah sure, just show us to your house it’s freezing out here” I mumbled, picking up my bag again, still refusing to look at him. Not again Chelsea. It's not going to happen again. He's a player, just remember that. They all are.
