Chapter 12

Tatia's P.O.V

I woke up already pulled out of the car.

"Tatia. Tatia. wake up." I know that voice.

"Elijah." I open my eyes and see him holding my head up. I sit up and see klaus stand over me and pulled me up by the arm ruffly. I pulled out the pieces of glass that pierced my skin feeling my cuts and bruises healing.

"Klaus..." Elijah said

"What is your angle Tatia. that is if you are her!" said Klaus while a holding onto my jaw pulling me up. I held onto his hand slapping his hand to let go and kicking in the air.

"Klaus. .. please"

"Klaus let go of her now!"  Elijah demanded. Klaus turned his head  to look at Elijah and the back at me.

"you want her... go get her!" He threw me like a rag doll into the water. Elijah dove in after me helping me re-surface.

"You ok?"Elijah asked holding my face in his hands as I held onto his hands nodding.

"I'm fine."

"let's go."we walked out of the water to see Klaus gone with Elijah's car and the sun rising. I smiled at Elijah holding his hand and felt as if on fire...

I looked at my hand to see that my ring was no longer on my finger.

"Elijah. .." I looked at him and at my skin as it began to turn red and making sizzling noises. He looked at me, grabbed me by the waist and dove into the water with me. he put me in the shadows of the bridge while he looked for my ring.

"did you find it?"

"no." I began to panic and he noticed.

"it's okay we'll find it." he swam to the spot I was thrown re-surfacing holding my ring

"Oh thank you Elijah." he swam to me and put my ring back on my hand holding me hand, walking us out of the water. He called Stefan of all people and he picked us up.

*In the car...*

"So.. care to uh.. explain the wet clothes?"

We looked at each other and explained everything my fake relationship with Klaus and how it came out.

"wow." was all he said.

"So where do I drop you off at."

"he'll be waiting for me at my house. Stefan? Could I stay at your house until he cools down?"

"Sure.Elijah? You?"

"just drive to your house I'll wait there a little while also."

We got to the house. Elena and Damon were in the living room and looked at us with curiosity.

"Elijah you should probably go.. and uh change."

He nodded and left

Elena and Damon came to the door were Stefan and I were still standing at.

"Elena I know I've been awfully shitty to you-"

"I know it was an act. we may not know each other very well but.. I just knew."

I nodded."well I can't go to my house. Do you have any spare clothes I could wear. I'll let you pick any of my clothes you want for a trade." I smiled

" I might have some clothes but you don't need to trade me-"

"Please! We're family." she smiled at that
