Chapter 2: Dr. Eggman

It didn't take long for me to make it to the scene and put myself between the robot and the people. "Sonic I knew you would show up" said a voice from the robot. Then I saw a familiar mustache. "Dr. Robotnik" I had asked this under my breath because I didn't believe what I was seeing. Dr. Robotnik was attacking people? It was impossible he'd never hurt mankind. "Yes I am Dr. Ivo Eggman Robotnik" he said in a raspy voice.

"Well that clears up one thing" I said as I look at the man with the same mustache and smirk "I won't have any regrets beating you down". At that moment he attacked using the robot's arm. I had only two choices block it or dodge it, and I knew if I dodged it now innocent people would be harmed. That left me with one option, and that was block. It was a tough hit and I hadn't adjusted to this new way of fighting yet, but I stood my ground and raised a hand and stopped the blow and it left a stinging sensation. The bald mustached adversary I was facing seemed pretty shocked and threw another one and I caught that one without thinking twice. "What's say you and I take this fight out of town" I concentrated hard on where I wanted to take the fight and "CHAOS CONTROL" instantly we were transported to a clearing in a forest.

"WHAT" cried the robot "WITHOUT A CHAOS EMERALD HOW"?! Why he seemed surprised was beyond me. But I could sense some chaos energy coming within this 'Dr. Eggman's' mech siut. "The power of Chaos doesn't belong to someone who would abuse it's power" that must have spooked him good with this guy scared, even as smart as he is, he'll mess up and I'll get an opening. Like a cornered animal, the robot attacked trying to get the upper hand. Big mistake.

One moment the robot was charging at me. Next it fell to the ground powerless. I ripped out it's core power source. It looked like a gem, but it radiated with power as I held it.

  "Is this... A chaos emerald?" I inspected the gem closer to try to understand it but I suddenly felt a rush of power flow through me as I heard a woman's voice 'the servers are the seven chaos, chaos is power, power is enriched by the heart, the controller is the one that unifies the chaos' it sounded like a prayer.

  I didn't have time to analyze it since the cockpit of the robot ejected allowing Eggman to get a good look at me "Wait a minute, you're not Sonic!" his raspy voice was like nails on a chalk board, or a hook. That's when another Hedgehog showed up. He was blue with green eyes, big gloves, and in sneakers.

  "Sorry I'm late Egghead. But it looks like the parties already over. That a shame." He spoke in such a clam voice, but you could hear the cocky attitude. But then I started to put the pieces together. This guy was sonic.
