Red was asleep dreaming of all the pokemon that could be his first starter but he had only three pokemon he could choose from. Squirtle, The water pokemon, is a great starter but it is the kind of cool that doesn't fit with red. Bulbasaur, The grass pokemon, could help but it seems like that's just kinda weird. So Red decides to go with Charmander, The fire pokemon, which seems just perfect for him but he wonders how it would be against gym leaders but he then realizes the evolution and goes with Charmander for his starter but his choice is very important. Then....he hears a ringing and remembers that he was dreaming and wakes up. He then looks to see the time....and realizes he might be late so he gets up and runs while putting on his backpack, vest, and his hat all while running down the stairs. Red says to his mom "Bye gotta go to the professor or i'm gonna be late" and runs outside towards the pokemon lab and stops at the lab door just to see his rival.....Blue. "Running late I see.... but it's ok because I waited for you.....SO I CAN WATCH YOU SUFFER AS I CHOOSE MY STARTER FIRST!" then Blue and Red burst through the door fighting for who's going to pick their starter first then both fall in front of their towns very own pokemon professor......Professor Oak. "Hello Red and Blue, I see you're Here for your first pokemon?"
