Shaw POV
After 10 months of being held captive by Samaritan and two months fighting. It's been a year since Samaritan been taken down and all the people who was apart of it. The lost of my friend and brother in crime, John still hurts. I heard that Harold is in Paris. He finally get to be with the one woman he always loved. And Dev Fasco made captain, crazy huh. The last captain retired he decided that Fasco would be a great captain, because of the arrests he made thanks to my sled and the Machine of course. And what about Root you ask. Well I'm on my way to go find her. After my talked with Fasco, the Machine called and gave me a number. Right then I knew who number it was. No other than Samantha Groves also known as Root.
The Machine set up Root's fake death. Turns out she had one of the doctors to give her some drug that slows down your heart rate and brain and body for a short period of time. So when Fasco saw her she seemed dead. Speaking of which I should give him a call and tell him the news.
( Phone ringing)
" Hello Fasco Speaking" he answered.
"Hey Lional I have some news I'm sure you would love to her" I said trying not to sound excited.
"Oh yeah, what is it? Did they finally decided to make us millionaires for taking down devil machine and it's craze team"
Laughing to myself "No I said, sadly no one knows we had any cause to any of that. Anyway it's about one of our on who we thought we lost...Root".
"Root?" He asked.
"Yeah how fast can you get to our spot?"
"I'll be there in ten." He said in a worried tone.
"Okay see you then."
(Hangs up the phone)
Now it's time to get a few things packed and ready. I looked over to bear he had an excited look in his eyes. He knew where we were going. He knew who we were going to get to bring back home.
