2. Sometimes the eyes can lie

Office seemed very boring with the piles of paperwork. Its like I only come to office for the salary which was a wealthy amount and I had another reason to come to office: Demi. We were meant to be colleagues but she didn't talk to me much nor anyone else. We had to work late night. It was 10 at night. "Mind if I drop you?" I gave her a reassuring smile.

"No Niall I'm good" she had the most angelic voice. Holy shit! She knows my name. I sighed as she refused my proposal. And she noticed my frustration. "Don't worry it's alright. You see I have different plans. Maybe some another day" with that she kissed my cheek and put in her coat and walked out of the office. I stood there paralysed. She just kissed my cheek. I'm never gonna wash that cheek. But what bugged me was what plans does she have at this hour if time? What if she's a nightclub stripper? I shoved my thoughts away. I followed her out. I put my jacket on and pulled the hoodie up so that she doesn't notice me. I climbed into my range rover and drove slowly. I parked my car in a parking lot and got down and walked quietly so that nobody notices me. I saw a petite figure walk into an ally. I followed cuz I guessed it was Demi. Yeah it was her she had her black coat on and I could tell it was her because of those very visible curves that the coat hugged so well and that hair of course. I followed her until I saw her get into the area of crime. She tore the tapes away and got out a bunch of keys out from her pocket and unlocked the door. It was a lodge that got shut down two years ago. The signboard read "Venus Lodge". It suddenly pricked my conscience. Demi's murder case. The charges that held upon her.
