Chapter 1: My Life

Allie's P.O.V

"Stop! Please, stop!" I yelled with every kick he threw at me.

"Shut up!" the harsh tone of his voice made me cry even more. "I said shut up!" he yelled with one last kick at me in the stomach. My vision went blurry and the last thing I saw was the monster I call a dad walk away out the door and leave me.

I woke up on the soft bed in my room, probably Linkin put me here. Just as I got knocked out my thoughts, the old bedroom door creaked open to reveal Linkin carrying a tray of food, water and tablets.

"Hey, you alright?" he asked as he closed the door and walked over to the edge of my bed.

"Yeah, just got headache." I said as he placed the tray on the nightstand next to me.

"Well take the tablets and have something to eat, get a bit of rest, and I'll see you downstairs when you're ready alright?" I nod my head in a "yes" formation.

"Where's dad?" I asked hoping he wasn't in.

"He went out after he, um... beat you... he won't be in till later so you're fine." I give him a weak smile as he walks away.

"Luke," I call after him as he walks out the door.

"Yeah?" he asked popping his head back into the bedroom behind the door.

"Thanks for being here for me, since mum died." I said in a weak voice at the mention of our mum.

"You're basically all I got Al," he said with a weak smile, "c'mon get some rest, you need it." he said as he left the room and quietly closed the creaky bedroom door.

I took the tablets and rested my head back onto the soft pillow and soon fell in a dreamless sleep.

I was awaken by someone gently shaking my shoulder, "Al, time to get up, you got half hour before school." I shot up and looked at my alarm clock. 7:31 I groaned and flopped back onto my bed.

"Do I have to?" I asked looking up at Linkin.

"Yeah, you do, plus you got that test..."

"Alright, I'll be ready in ten."

"Ok." He said and walked out. I sighed and threw the covers off. I walked into the bathroom washed my face and put a little cover of makeup on. I walked back into my room and decided on wearing my DO NOT DISTURB t-shirt and my blue washed jeans with my black Fila's. I walked downstairs to find Linkin watching the football match of Chelsea VS Liverpool.

"Luke, time to get your lazy ass off the sofa and in the car." he looked at me with a smug expression and turned the TV off, walking towards me and on the way collecting the car keys. I opened the car door and got in, soon followed by Linkin. He turned the key in the ignition and the engine roared to life. He stepped on the peddle and the car jolted forward, soon we sped off.

Ten minuets later we arrived at the school gates.

"C'mon, let's go," he said as we both opened our doors, and closed them. At the entrance I saw my best friends Carly and Susan.

"Hey girl!" Carly basically yelled in my ear.

"Hey," I said.

"Come on! We're gonna be late!" Susan yelled as we ran down the white painted walls of the halls. We ran up four flights of stairs and soon we arrived at room H13 for English.

"Just on time I see," Mr. Carson said.

"Sorry sir, I woke up late, and these two were waiting for me." I said as we walked to the back of the classroom to our seats. Susan and Carly sat next to each other, so I had to sit next to David another friend of mine. I sat down, pulled out my book and started the work that was on the board. Soon, the door burst open to reveal the most popular boys of our school. Sam, the sweet cheesy guy. Rick, the violent one. Josh, the joker, and very last, Eric the leader of his little clan.

They shut the door and sat right behind me and David. I sigh and look at the clock, 8:57, another forty three minuets left. This is gonna be a long day.
