The Lost Puppy

Lost and alone, or?

One day around 8:30 p.m. 5 adorable puppies were born in the middle of a forest. All of them had brown short hair and scrunched up noses like Boxers except 1. I had more of a long snout and very long Black and white hair. My mom was surprised when she saw me. I was so different and she loved me just as much as the other ones. But secretly she knew who her favorite was. She was excited to give them all names. The names she chose were:

-Cheri (Female)

-Bailey (Female)

-Rocky (Male)

-Zeus (Male)

Last but not least the little odd ball also known as me:

-Gizmo (Male)

2 months have passed and the little ones walked around and played so much already. The mother enjoyed watching her little ones. One day at sunset she heard a strange noise. She looked around but couldnt see anything. It was probably just in her head. Suddenly there was a louder noise and this time even the little ones started to whine and put their tails between their legs. Her first instinct was to pick me up and hide me, she would bring the other ones there too. A beautiful log lay there beside a tree. As she lay me in the log she heard the other little ones whimper. Her legs could barely carry her, when she reached the place where the puppies were supposed to be, she found not one single puppy there. So she decided to go back to me and then something attacked her from behind. Every dog was gone except for me. Once I thought it was safe I came out of the log with my whole body shaking. No one was around. I walked to the place that I originally knew as home but no one was there. Claw marks were everywhere. The night was so dark and I was so alone. I started to walk, I didnt know where I was going but I thought it was a whole lot better than just staying there where I just lost my family. I heard footsteps walk behind me but each time I turn around it stops. My tiny little paws start to jog and then soon jog turns into run. When I ran I only looked to the back to see if anyone would follow. I was so distracted that I bumped into something, No wait, SOMEONE!

My head slowly goes up and I see this huge wolf stand right in front of me. Words didnt want to leave my mouth, but he didnt have a problem with that. What are you doing here? The wolf said in this insanely deep voice. Um, well, um, see my um, family disappeared and um, you see, I am all alone, please dont hurt me I say as I back up in fear, but I soon noticed that there were 2 more wolves behind me. The huge wolf in front of me starts to laugh and soon the 2 behind me join in. Why do you think we would harm someone like you? You are just a pup He said as he sat down. Then what are you doing here? Are you the ones that made my family disappear? My voice was still a bit shaky. WHAT? Of course not, when I heard the barking and the struggles I came running I felt as if I should believe him. And then we saw you so we thought that we should protect you. I dont have a home anymore I say as my eyes start tearing up. The 2 huge wolves behind me look at the big one in front of me, Fine you 2 he says Hey little kid, wanna come with us to our home, we will protect you. My name is Ash and these 2 behind you are Dragon and Fang.

I follow the big wolves through all the trees and bushes. At every movement I jump. We walked down a trail, soon I could see the opening of the trees. Light shinned through the branches and the leaves. My heart started pounding and pounding. {What could be there, would it harm me?} Questions run through my mind, they wouldnt stop coming no matter how hard I tried. Suddenly Ash turns around and I didnt have time to stop so I bump into his front legs. Oh um, sorry, um I say under my breath. No need to apologize big guy. You are one of us now. Ash says. I-I am? I couldnt believe that this was happening to me. Just a few more minutes until we arrived at our destination, a beautiful place, it was the wolves home. Do um, well I uh, Do you think that they will accept me? Of course they will Ash says looking back and smiling. How do you k-know? Is the Alpha nice? Well am I nice? Oh yes I reply, But what do you have to do with it? The Alpha already knows who you are He says as he looks around B-b-but how? my voice stutters like never before, of course I have only lived for 2 months. I am the Alpha ASH IS THE ALPHA??? I should have expected this, he had the figure and the voice of one. He is starting to feel like a brother to me, hopefully one day he will feel the same about me.
