The barking stopped promptly after gun shots ranged out. I ran quickly to a car parked on the other side of the street. I ducked behind the car and peered over the hood of the vehicle trying to remain concealed.
I watched three men running from the dark alley all dressed in dark clothes carrying guns. The taller and last guy out the darkness turned and fired his gun in the direction they came from while the other two sprinted ahead down the sidewalk.
I was positioned directly in front of the alley behind the car. The three men had turned the corner a few blocks away. What I saw next made me gasp for air. A dark shadow moved quickly standing over six feet tall, his head was shaped like a werewolf his hair long like a lion mane and claws for finger. I watched the creature as he raised his arms and began levitating. He moved swiftly and landed in the middle of the street in the light.
I kept my mouth covered in fear the creature would hear me breathing. I saw him as he looked around in search of the three men. His eyes were glowing a neon green, his pupils were blood shot red and his teeth dripping with blood. He was carrying a head of a man in one hand.
I watched this beast sniffing the air and he turned in the direction where the the men ran in. It looked me in the eyes and growled loudly. He raised his arms again still holding the decapitated head and with a loud roar he disappeared in the air.
I sat on the curb shaking my head, my heart was pounding loudly in my ears.
"What in god's name was that?"
I thought to myself.
My hands were trembling as I tried to call the police, but I couldn't think straight. I just sat thinking what would I say to the police? Before I could finish the thought a voice came from behind me.
"You never will call!"
I turned my head around afraid of what was behind me. Everything went black. That was six months ago, now I'm trying to remember how I made it home and how I got this scare on my left cheek. The doctors said I was attacked by some wild dogs, but I know otherwise.
