Edward's POV

Bella likes someone? Damn I thought she liked me but I guess she doesn't. But I will find out who she likes then I will say she is with me and they won't go near her then then we can be together. No!! I can't do that to her I will tell her how I feel then....I don't know what will happen after that.

"Edward?"

"Yeah"

"Are you okay?"

No I'm not, you like someone else and not me. I thought

"Yeah I'm okay"

"No your not okay I can tell your lying tell me I'm your best friend"

"No I'm fine Bella don't worry okay?"

"Are you sure?"

Before I can answer a girl came up to me

"Hi! My name is Tanya you are?"

"Uh Edward"

"Oh hi Edward you are?"

She looked at Bella but she wasn't looking at us.

"Bella?"

"What"

She seems mad but why?

"Are you okay?"

"Fine"she snapped at me

She never snapped at me before. She just walked away from me and this girl

"So do you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?"she asked me and then smiled

No I can't leave Bella for someone I just met

"No thank you I have my friend Bella with me and we do everything together"I said

"Uh oh okay see you around"she wasn't smiling anymore but she seemed pretty

Why did Bella seem mad about Tanya talking to me? She does like someone else doesn't she?

I was walking to class a see Bella and someone else

"Bella?"

"Yeah Edward?"

"Who is this? Is this the guy you said you liked?"

God I hope not

"No this is Jacob I just met him"she smiled a little but she seemed a little sad?

Why is she sad is it because that girl Tanya was talking to me?

"I gotta go but it was nice talking to you Jacob"

"What class do you have now Bella?"

"Science"

"Oh do you want to go together? I have science too"

"Sure"
