Part 4- You’ve Got That One Thing

Grace’s POV

We decided to get out of the pool and have a barbeque because we were all starving but none of us can be bothered to go out, the suns setting and this place is stunning! I walked up the path back to the house when I heard a car pulling up into the drive of the house next door to ours. I just hung around for a while to see who got out of the car. Much to my surprise I saw Harry and Louis getting out of the car with who I’m guessing to be their families. Since when were they staying next door to us?! OMG this is actually amazing! I ran into the house up to Lily’s room to catch her dancing around her room to ‘We Found Love’ by Rihanna, in her underwear. I stood in the doorway laughing my head off.

‘Wooaahh! How long have you been stood there?!’ She screamed as she ran to turn the music off.

‘Ermm for about 5 minutes now.. .’ I replied, still in fits of laughter

‘Haven’t you heard of knocking?’ She said, obviously very embarrassed as she had gone redder than a tomato

‘Yes, but this was an emergency Lil! You’ll never guess who has just arrived next door!’ I screeched

‘Well if its who I think it is then Harry and Louis?’ She answered, not as exited as I thought she would be

‘How did you guess?’

‘Harry told me when we were waiting to get off the plane…’

‘Oh, why didn’t you tell me earlier? I must have looked like a right tit stood there looking at them get out of their car with my mouth wide open!’

‘Hahaha you never asked!’

‘I shouldn’t need to bloody ask Lil!’ I replied, not exactly in a bad mood but not in a good one either

‘Sorry Grace, don’t take it to heart, now could you leave me alone so I can get dressed please?’

‘Sorry, didn’t mean to get stressed byee see you later!’

And with that, I made a swift exit.

I can’t believe they are here! There’s me thinking I was never going to see them again! Maybe with them staying next door, we could get to be better friends?!  I could have a chance with Harry! That’s if Lily doesn’t get in there before me…

Lily’s POV

Oh my days! I can’t believe Grace just watched me dance around my room! Yeah were best friends and that’s the kind of stuff we do all the time, but not in underwear, on my own. No that’s just embarrassing! I put that thought to the back of my head and decided to just enjoy our first night here down under. I quickly changed into a pair of high-waisted shorts and a cream lace vest then slipped on my purple toms and I was ready!

I headed out the front door to see Grace, Harry and Louis sitting on the grass talking. I waved then went over to grab a drink. As I walked towards the table my mum had set up full of drinks, I noticed a few familiar faces. They were Harry and Louis family’s.

‘Hey darling’ My mum shouted from the table

‘Hello mum’ I replied walking towards her, she was sat with who were obviously Harry and Louis mums and then a younger girl, around 15ish and a older girl around 18ish.

‘Lily this is Anne, Harrys mum; Jay, Louis mum; Gemma, Harry’s sister; and Lottie, Louis sister’

‘Hey, I’m Lily’ I answered

I received a hello from each of them

‘I’m off to sit with Harry, Louis and Grace, girls you coming?’  I said eager to know what they were talking about

‘No thanks, I think I’ll go talk to Charlie and Tom’ Gemma answered sweetly and Lottie had already gone off to find Olly and Callum

‘Hey Lil!’ Grace shouted making Louis and Harry turn around so they were now facing me.

‘Hey guys’ I said, watching where I was walking, tripping over at this moment is the last thing I need

Harry and Louis both separated from being next to each other and made room for me on the grass in between them

‘Well hello there stranger’ Harry said as I sat down and carefully placed my drink on the ground in front of me.
