I walked down stairs and saw Erin on the couch doing homework, or at least I assumed it was homework. I asked her how her date with Alec went "It went okay, we just chilled and watch a few movies." , she replied. Of course I know she's lying; I know about those parties and things she does 'behind my back' . Honestly, I couldn't care less what she does as long as she is home by 11:00 and doesn't arrive drunk.
I love her to death, but she needs time to figure her own life out. I won't mess with it.
Flashback over
I woke up from my dream and stared at the ceiling, I finally decided to look at my phone and check the time. I picked up my iPhone 6s and turned it on only to find out that it's 4 in the morning. I rolled my eyes and turned onto my side. For a second I thought about the dream that had just ended and I realized it was definitely not just any dream; it was a memory from a cold winter morning with Erin.
That flashback/dream thing that just happened to replay in my head took place on January 19 2015. I remember that date because it's exactly 7 days before she... passed on.
After about ten minutes of thinking about it I was able to go back to sleep and not get up again until 11 at least.
I wake up at its 12:30 in the afternoon, I jumped up to get Pia ready for dinner with Jax, Lindsey, and Kole. She is already up, surprisingly. I walk into the kitchen and she is cooking eggs and Canadian bacon. She knows that it's my favorite and she is only cooking for me because I agreed to do her makeup and hair. I know it for a fact but she won't admit it; it's still some what of a nice gesture.
2 hours later
Pia and I finished eating and rushed to my master bathroom to get her ready. " Mom I just wanted to say thanks again for doing all this, i know it's a sucky way to spend your Saturday afternoon. I -" she was cut off by me replying with " Darlin' I told you not to keep saying thank you... your my daughter and I will always help you. I love you." , a huge grin appeared on Pia's face during me speaking those few words. She said I love you too and we continued on in peaceful silence as I started to match foundation to her skin tone. I haven't done her makeup in quite some time and she has changed a lot so I have to rematch her foundation color, eyebrow color, and her blush shade.
1 hour later
I just finished Pia's makeup with tears in my eyes... she is so grown up! My baby is 19 and when she leaves I'll be alone; I no longer have Erin so my nest will be empty.
God how I miss her, I wish I knew what made her do what she did. I think it's time I look for her phone... maybe there is something on it that will tell me why.
Although for now I need to focus on Pia and doing her hair before she puts her dress on.
" How do you feel about curls Pia? " I asked with sincerity in my voice. She smiled happily and nodded at the thought of having big curls on her head. They always framed her face just right!
1 hour later
I finished Pia's hair by placing a black lace bow on the right side of her head, it goes perfect with her dress. We didn't exactly make conversation but occasionally smiled while Lana Del Rey played off of her phone.
She soon stood up and looked in the mirror " Oh My Gosh!!! Mom! I love it!! " she yelled while turning back around to face me. I was shocked when she jumped into my arms to hug me, it was nice though. I really want her to be happy and if they means being with Kole then so be it.

She is so beautiful, I only wish Erin were here to grow up with her. I can't think about Erin right now... "Pia you are so gorgeous and your night on the town with your friends and Kole is going to be so fun." She grinned "Thanks mom, this really means a lot to me. I love you. " she hugged me and ran to grab her shoes from the closet.
Pia and I are sitting down stairs watching Vampire Diaries and the door bell rings about three times before I decide to get up and answer it. I opened the door to see Kole wearing a nice button down and khaki pants with work boots.

I greeted him politely and told him to come inside, he sat down on the couch and looked at the ground until Pia came down stairs; *she rushed up there when the door bell rang* . Pia came downstairs about 5 minutes later, she looks really pretty! As soon as Kole saw her " Wow " was the only thing that could make its way out of his mouth. He looked at her for a good 30 seconds before he walked over to her and grabbed her hip, he pulled her closer and started to walk out of the house; right before they reached the door, Pia stopped and turned around to give me a hug. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her shoulders. She walked back to Kole, kissed him on the cheek, and walked out the door with him at her side.
