Ruby's POV:
.....................
"So what exactly happened?" Lulu says, sliding the coffee to Joey and taking a seat next to me with her coffee in her hand. I sipped my hot tea and adjusted my sitting position, leaning back into the red soft sofa. Right now we're in our local coffee store, across the street form the grocery store, not too load but not too quite.

Mr Toll, our principle, chatted with Joey and Corey and they both have a two day suspension. Lulu and I took the day off, allowance form Mr Toll and Lulu's parents, to chat about what happened. Mr Toll got the brief information, but Lulu and I are going deep into the information.

"It started when I first met him" Joey scoffed and drank his coffee. "Come on dude, don't be like that" I say, shaking my head. Joey glares and me, but then gives up with a sigh.

"That so called "party" we went to on Monday, wasn't actually a party" he explains. "Or nah shit!" I say, rolling my eyes. It'd take a million years for me to believe he was ACTUALLY going to a party on Monday.

"Ruby" Lulu said, warning me to stop. I scoffed and looked at Joey, waiting for him to continue.

"Anyway, we went to the city instead and-" He was explaining but got cut off.

"What?!" Lulu shouted very shocked "You went to that vampire infested city!?". "Lulu! Vampires don't exist" Joey chuckled, rolling his eyes. Pfft, riiiight.

"Still! That's a dangerous city and our parents warned us to not go there!" Lulu explained. "Dad goes there everyday for his work!" Joey shot back. "He goes to the safer part of the city, what part did you go to!?" She said outraged. I looked around the cafe to see a couple of eyes landing on us.

"Calm down you two. People are staring to stare like we're maniacs" I whisper loudly. They both looked around, seeing the pairs of eyes on us. "Fine" they both mumbled at the same time.

"Good" I nod "now, Joey, continue" I say, sipping my tea again.

"So, that Monday night Trent, Kile, Paul and I went to the city and hanged at Corey's place. He lives in an apartment and catches the train to school. When we got to his place, it wasn't just me and the boys, there were other people too. Extremely fit and intimidating guys with extremely fine girls. The boys and I had a lot of drinks and started to get tipsy, with Corey having 3 bottles of vodka and was still as focused as an owl! Anyway, I don't remember most of what happened that night, but I woke up shitless in the middle of the street! I had all my belongings on me in my jeans thank god! But still! I was far away from the building that Corey lives in, and I found holes in both of my shoulders. I'll show you both when we get home, but it hurts like a bitch." Joey ends, rubbing both of his shoulders.

"So what caused the fight with you and Corey?" Lulu asked.

"I went up to him the next day at school and asked what happened. He said that he didn't remember either but I know for a fact that was bullshit. Paul and Kile weren't worried about it, having holes in their shoulders also! But Trent was just as worried as me, wanting to know what happened to his neck and arms, having dozens of holes in them. So, we both went up to him and declared him to tell us what happened. I don't know how it escalated from talking to fighting, but it did. Trent was there, but left me and ran out of the cafeteria when we Corey and I started punching each other." He explains.

"Daaam" Lulu and I both said. Joey nodded in agreement and took his last gulp of his coffee. "Why did Trent run?" I asked, taking a last sip of my tea. Joey shrugged. "So what's going to happen now?" Lulu asked, taking Joey's empty cup.

"Well, I know that Kile and Paul are on my good side, Corey is on my enemy side, and Trent is on my pissed side, for randomly running away" he explains, standing up. Lulu and I also stand up. I grab my cup and walk over to the bin with Lulu, putting them in the recycling bin.

"Home time?" Joey asked, whipping out his phone. "I wanna go to the park" Lulu wines. I roll my eyes at her attitude.

"Lulu and I will be going to the park, you can go home" I say patting his shoulder. He shrugs "I'll come". "Really?" I asked in disbelief. Joey hates the park. "It's a good day with nice weather, I'm sure it won't hail" he said carefully.

"Just because it was hailing when we we're at the park 10 years ago doesn't mean ALL parks out to get you with small flying ice cubes" Lulu scoffs as we walk out the coffee store and into the parking lot, heading towards the navy truck. I remember you telling me that" I laugh, pointing at Lulu. She had a smug smile and nodded her head.

"Shut up" Joey childly wines and opens the door to the passengers seat. "NEVER!" Lulu said in a demonic playful voice, skipping towards the drivers seat. Yay, the back seat. Note the sarcasm. I open the door and slide in.
