I straighten up from putting my bags in the back of the car to see Brent walking my way. The tour was over, and I hadn't spoken to Jye since he told me it was over. Had it ever even really started? A part of me knew that was one of the questions it wouldn't be good to dwell on.

"Make sure you text me," I tell Brent sternly before hugging him.

"Maybe," he replies, but I knew he would. He'd become one of my best friends, and I didn't want to lose him.

"Hope I see you again sometime," Richard says with a wink. I chuckle and let him pull me into a hug.

"I'll be with Bryan the rest of the summer, so maybe we'll run into each other," I say, flipping his hair around teasingly.

My blue eyes rove around, hoping against hope that Jye would appear out of nowhere and pull me into his arms. But, I knew that wouldn't happen. We were over, and it was obvious that he had nothing else to say to me.

"Tyler!" I call, seeing the drummer walks by. He glances over and I motion him over.

"Have you.. have you seen Jye?" I ask softly, biting my lower lip.

"Not within the last hour," he replies, a sad note in his voice.

I nod slowly and turn away from him before the tears that stung my eyes could fall.

"All ready?" Bryan asks and I nod, walking around the red car to get into the passenger seat.

I look out the window, but Jye doesn't come. I keep staring out the window the whole drive back to Nebraska, my mind only on one person. What had gone so wrong? He hadn't even said 'goodbye'..
