Days after you got drunk you said you'd repay me. You owe me. You took me out to the amusement park. It was February and couples were all around. Some people mistook us for a couple and we both said we aren't. I wish we were though. Looking around and seeing everyone so happy with their partners made me think of us. I know I'm just a friend to you though.
We both sat down, exhausted. The sun was starting to set. The light crawled down your face and all I could think was how peaceful you looked. You were smiling brightly. It makes me wonder how someone like you could be as broken as someone like me. You turned your head to smile at me.
They said if you whispered your wish in the wind it might come true. So I did. I whispered it to the wind.
'Min Yoongi, I want you to be truly happy.' I thought it wasn't enough so I added , 'I love you' and after that I felt so free.
