The Love: "The Final End and the Kiss That Came"

     It was perfect. If you ask Lark he’d say that it was extraordinary. Yep. It all came together. I was on my way with Kim, Lark was on his way with Val, and I got to work on a legendary car. The last day of school was amazing.

        “Hey hot stuff. How you been?” Did I mention Kim took a liking to me after that experience? We weren’t exactly dating but we played around.

        “Hey girl, last day.”

        “I know. These last few weeks have gone by fast with you around.”

        “I’d say. I’m ready to get greased up.” And that’s where it hit me. That’s when I wanted to kiss her. I could see it in her eyes too. She was biting her lip, and it was last period. We went into that deep dark corner, but this time it seemed to be filled with light and joy.

        I knew I had fallen in love.
