Evenfall: The Mystery Of Tye Springs

This will be long but here ya go!

It was a sin, honestly. My brother's friend, Tye, had been missing for a year. His body was found yesterday, dead in an abandoned shed. Some teenagers found him, no doubt while trespassing.

They said, "We stumbled upon the shed and smelled something disgusting. When we opened it he was just... dead!" It was gruesome.

October hadn't left his room since Tye was found. He's been in there for 8 hours. He hasn't used the washroom, he hasn't played on the computer, anything.

And me? Well, I didn't know the kid, although I do know he was good. Tye Springs, good grades, good friends, and a good spirit. He was popular around the school and everybody admired him. Except me, I wasn't obsessed, like certain other people...

Bring in Alessiara, one of my best friends. Alessiara is... indescribable. She makes everyone laugh in a very dark and twisted way. She's also really happy all the time. Except for yesterday, she was miserable. I don't think Tye liked Alessiara, but I know someone who does...

Enter Tanner! He's really cool about everything. Like two weeks ago, three kids in Tye's grade were picking on him and he just very calmly walked away. Most kids would flip out! He also wears black, only wears hoodies, and is the only person who hates gym. Everybody likes gym, especially...

Fantasia! Or as we call her Fanta. She's in all school sports and gymnastics. She's captain of volleyball and tennis and co-captain of soccer. She is really fast, man, everyone knows that. She can get really strong on random occasions. She's epic! Who else is epic?

Lion is! Lion is interesting. We don't know his first name, but we know his nickname. He's also very sarcastic and over exaggerates about everything so it's hard to take anything he says literally.

So these are my friends and we're meeting at the library for a science project. It took a bit of convincing because of the incident, but my mom allowed me to go. Honestly, we only need today and tomorrow.

I hopped out of the car and walked towards the steps of the library.

"Robyn!" I saw Fanta through the window calling at me, with her pink hair in a messy bun, her blue eyes shining. The rest of them were there too, waving at me as I walked slowly up the steps. Alessiara cut her hair recently into a pixie cut, so I barely recognized her short brown hair. Lion's blonde 'mane' as he calls it is flipped to the right side of his head. Tanner's black hair hasn't changed as it still falls over his eyes, covering them.

"Took ya long enough," Lion says sarcastically as per usual. I smirk as I hit him playfully in the arm. We walk to a table in the far right corner. I set my stuff down and sit in between Fanta and Lion, with Alessiara and Tanner across from us.

"Oh finally, you're here." My head flips around looking for the source of the random voice that just peeped. The entire group seems to do the same. And then I saw it.

A ghost.

He looks familiar, with dead green eyes and windswept hair. He has scars on his chest and gash on his forehead. He looks familiar... kinda like-

"TYE!" Alessiara screams. Tanner's face falls and I seem to be the only one to catch it since he hides it so well. Tye hushes her and us quickly and effectively, literally, because we literally can't speak.

"I was killed at 2 am by a man and a woman in plaid shirts. They both have blonde hair and a child of their own and they're both best friends. They don't live in the city nor the beach. Figure out who killed me so my spirit can be saved." And with that, he disappeared. I gaped at where ghost Tye just floated and looked around to see if anyone else saw what I saw.
