Ace sighed as he dragged himself out of bed, making sure to avoid one of his canvas's for one of his projects, it's a five canvas piece of the night sky and he just finished the first one late last night. Not his best, but it was better than staring at his ceiling.
Then, being the clumsy ass he was, he tripped over his backpack and landed on his stomach with a loud thud. He groaned, but otherwise didn't move, instead he just snuggled his face in his arms, too tired to actually get off of the cold wood floor.
He heard some shuffling in Haruhi's room, and about 5 minutes later his door opened letting a bit of light into his cluttered room. He squinted, looking up to his sister as she looked down at him. His sister shook her head in exasperation, she went over and lightly kicked him in the ribs.
"Get up." Her voice was groggy with sleep, and therefore not that intimidating compared to when she was awake.
"No." His reply was incoherent, too exhausted to form any words. Haruhi sighed and kicked him in the ribs again.
"Get up."
"No."
Another light kick.
"Get up."
"No."
Kick.
"Get up."
"No."
Kick.
"Get up."
"No."
No kick, just a sigh.
"Get up."
"No."
Another sigh.
"Alright, you leave me no choice."
"Wha~?"
Ace didn't have the time to finish his sentence because his sister had suddenly decided to launch herself on his back. He grunted under her weight, and before his sleep deprived mind could registered what was happening Haruhi's fingers began to dance across his ribcage.
His laughter was contagious as he begged for her to stop, and after eons of screaming and choked giggles did she finally do so. Both of them were breathing heavily on his floor from their little tickle fight as they slowly got up, Ace whined as he realized that he had to get up now. He had to go to that stupid rich school today.
You'd think after two weeks of attending the school he would get used to it and suck it up.
Ace had gotten an art scholarship from the one and only Ouran Academy. He was originally not going to go, but Haruhi managed to win a scholarship in middle-school, and he wasn't going to let his sister go to a school like that alone.
So he had grudgingly agreed, and regretted the decision right after.
