13. VISIT TO ROME

Evlyn woke up to the banging on the front door of Zeus's condo. They both worked late last night and crashed at his place since she couldn't resist that cute pout Zeus gave to her when she insisted that she will go to her place. She turned to her side to see Zeus sleeping adorably. Evlyn sighed.My Man. She was about to go to sleep snuggling in to her warm blanket when there was another bang on the door. God. She stretched and went to open the door.

Antonio was restless, pacing in front of his cousin's condo waiting for him to open the goddamn door. He wondered what's taking his cousin so long to do so since he was always a light sleeper. He was about to bang on the door again when it opened.Finally. Antonio opened his mouth to give his cousin a piece of his mind and immediately closed it when he saw Evlyn who was yawning. She was still disoriented from sleep that she didn't notice him right away. To say he was amused would be an understatement. Evlyn blinked seeing him standing there and gave a sleepy smile. 

"Hey there Tony. Sup?" Evlyn yawned.

Antonio chuckled at his future sister-in-law who was looking rather cute in her pj's which are way too large on her frame. He met her twice before when he went to meet Zeus and they instantly clicked. He was surprised to see his broody cousin a happy man again. After the Cassandra incident, Zeus became moody to almost everyone other than their family. Now, to see his cousin laugh and crack jokes like he used to before, Antonio was happy for him. He immediately liked that little firecracker when she smacked Zeus on his head for forgetting to eat his lunch that day when he went to meet him.

"Well, my dear little sleepy bug, I came to have a word with that boyfriend of yours. As a matter of fact, you should listen too since it involves you." Antonio said by inviting himself inside.

"Oh. Zeus is still sleeping. Help yourself with whatever you want. I am gonna take a shower." Even before Evlyn finished her sentence, Antonio was already raiding the kitchen and the refrigerator. She gave a snort and went to the bathroom. 

Zeus woke up to the sound of someone singing in the shower and gave a lazy smile. He took a shower in the guest bathroom and went to the living room to see his cousin pigging out in the kitchen. Zeus snorted when Antonio gave him a smile while chewing loudly.

"Izzy will have a fit if she sees you now Tony. So, what made you leave her hip and come visit me?" Zeus joked.  

Isabella Jones is Antonio's long term girlfriend and new fiancee. Izzy is a sweet heart. She was immediately liked by their family when Antonio introduced her for the first time 3 years ago. He finally proposed to her 5 months back. Both of them were obsessed with each other. They were practically attached to the hip.

Antonio wiped his mouth while giving his cousin a glare. "I will break your bones if you tell her."

"Riiiiiight....I will take my chances. Seeing you getting scolded by Izzy who is half your size is definitely worth it." Zeus wiggled his eyebrows.

"Don't you dare. Chrissy ." Antonio smirked while Zeus gave him a glare.

Zeus opened his mouth to give him a retort when they heard a hearty laugh. Both of them turned to see Evlyn standing in the Living room doorway laughing. 

"Chrissy? I didn't know you have that nickname Zeus. Who gave you that? It's really cute." Evlyn giggled. Antonio laughed seeing Zeus blushing and pouting at Evlyn.

"Aww...you look cute when you blush Chrissy", Antonio said in a high pitched tone while pinching Zeus's cheeks. 

Zeus swatted his hand away and grumbled burying his face in Evlyn's neck. Antonio chuckled and cleared his throat to get the couples attention who were busy with each other.

"Ahem. So, the reason I came here today is to tell you guys that Aunt Alexa misses her only son. And she demanded her son to come visit her today." Antonio resumed his eating having finished saying what he had to.

"w-what?...M-Mom? visit her like now?" Zeus sputtered.

"uh-huh. Now, Like immediately. And I am your escort. So scurry. We have to move." Antonio said while finishing the last bit of frozen yogurt.

Evlyn looked bemused at the sight of Zeus sputtering. 

"Is it bad?....visiting her I mean? You said she is a sweet and happy lady." Evlyn asked looking at both cousins.

"To answer your question bug, No it is not bad...at least for you that is. While to my cousin here, he's gonna get some hard spanking today from his angry momma bear. This hothead here didn't visit his folks for nearly a year." Antonio said throwing an accusing glare at Zeus.

"I know I know. But on my defense, Whenever I go visit them, mom would raise the topic of me finding a girl and getting settled. During that time I am not looking forward to have a relationship. So I lessened my visits." Zeus explained looking sheepish.

"Well. How do you feel now, since you did find a beautiful woman?" Antonio asked with a smug smile.

"More than ready to face the music." Zeus said locking Evlyn in his arms. "Get ready buttercup. You are gonna meet your future-in-laws."

After a Long 8 hours travel by Zeus's private flight, all three of them reached Rome. They were on their way to the Markoni's estate when Evlyn started to feel nervous. Her hand were sweating and trembling slightly. Zeus took her hand noticing her nervousness and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"They are gonna love you Sweetheart. And I bet my ass that this sudden request for our visit is to have a look at the woman that have my heart. Don't worry." Zeus comforted her.

"That's true. Aunt Alexa have already seen you both in the magazines. She is just mad that her son didn't introduce his beautiful girlfriend to her and she had to find out that he is dating from a magazine." Antonio butted in.

Zeus groaned. " Don't remind me." 

Evlyn chuckled at his distressed face and snuggled in to his side. Zeus wrapped his arm around her. Antonio gagged at both of them making Evlyn laugh and Zeus to tease him about Izzy.

It was almost 6 in the evening when they reached the Estate.(pic is attached). The Estate was awesome. It was a Castle home with neatly trimmed lawn on four sides, brightly illuminated rooms and miles and miles of land around it. Evlyn's jaw slacked looking at the estate. Antonio laughed closing her mouth with his hand. 

"Here goes nothing." Zeus wrapped an arm around Evlyn and steered her toward the front door.
