Fire

This dream is pretty short, but I think I dragged it out long enough so enjoy!

My mom, my stepdad, and I were about to go somewhere, and for some reason I take a lighter and put it up to the ceiling in my room. Only a tiny portion of the ceiling caught, and then I left. (I guess I just wanted to see what would happen).

We went to this hotel, not to stay or anything but just to warn people that there was a structure fire at the top of the building. (Don't ask how we knew that, we just did).

So I start yelling to the people in the lobby,"Hey every one get out of here, there's a fire!". Needless to say, a bunch of people started bolting for the door.

In one group of people, there was a girl I knew from school. She saw me and then didn't believe me about the fire. I tried to convince her, but instead, her and her group of friends just went up to the balcony overlooking the lobby.

As soon as she got up there, it burst into flames. I didn't even try to help, I just shouted, "I TRIED TO TELL YA!".

I don't really remeber what happened with that, but me, my mom, and my stepdad went back home. Apparently, the tiny fire I started grew until almost half of my house was engulfed in flames. I went inside and found an outfit similar to turn-out gear (a fireman outfit), just small enough to fit me, in my stepdad's closet. I also found a pair of fireman's gloves and a fire extinguisher.

Honestly there's nothing that even barely resembles turn-out gear or anything like that in my stepdad's closet. I think it was just my imagination throwing me a bone.

But anyway, I got that stuff and I just went upstairs to "fight the fire". I won, and I went outside to where Barry and my mom were waiting.

My mother was furious because my room, my older brother's room (the room above mine), and the ceiling were just gone, completely demolished. She was mostly upset because it would cost A LOT of money, money that she didn't really have.

That's where it ended and thank goodness this was only a dream, because 1. I'm not going inside a burning building, so bye-bye housey and 2. (Yeah just repeat number one). So here's to hoping I'm not dumb enough to set my own house on fire.
