You and your good friend Joji were walking down an empty Brooklyn street, surprised that it was quiet. Neither of you said anything, enjoying the calming silence. As you were walking down the street, Joji stopped. You turned around to see him pulling out a pack of Menthol's. He looked at you as he was lighting one, and signaled with the box for you to take one.
You gladly accepted.
He struggled to light it. It was foggy and snowy that day, he had to surround the cigarette with his gloved hand. As he lit it, his eyes looked into yours, staring at each other for a few moments.
"Um-" Joji muttered, breaking the silence. He put his lighter up, and took a big puff as he looked at the empty street.
You kind of liked Joji, but you didn't know if he liked you back. You'd been through bad breakups and awkward rejections. You had always thought that no one loved you that way.
You took a big puff and exhaled.
Fuck it, I have one life, it's beautiful out, yolo, you thought. You put out your cigarette as you took one more puff and looked at Joji.
"Joji?"
"Hmm." He turned from his gaze of the blank road to look at you.
"It's just that, um, I kind of-"
"Like me?" Joji interrupted.
You were kind of shocked. "How did you-"
"It's pretty obvious, really," he said. "But it's fine." He added walking closer to you.
"What do you mean it's-"
You had realized that he leaned down, and his nose was inches away from yours. "It's fine, because-" Joji stopped himself, from pushing his face to yours, kissing you. The kiss lasted a few moments, then you both pulled away.
"It's fine because-" Joji finally finished his sentence. "I like you too."
A/N - There's my first imagine. It sucks but these will probably get better.
