1) If you’re going to make a mood board, make sure that the pictures match — and use a filter that actually works with it.
EXAMPLE:
As you can see, the coloring is obviously slaying. Plus, the pictures match wonderfully — not to mention, this is from my favorite movie of all time.
2) Always try to make your cover simple if the story is short. Don’t go all out getting people to make you manipulated covers because honestly, that turns me away.
3) Be sure to credit the people that make the PSD’s and filters. They worked extra hard to make these wonderful resources.
