Forgotten

Chapter 6

"I remember too." I whisper. He grabs my waist and pulls me down on top of him. He presses his lips against mine. I giggle and hug him.

"So what now?" He asks as I lay next to him, smiling.

"I don't know." I say quietly.

"Ok, we'll think about it then. I'm hungry." He says. I nod and dash downstairs. I find Louis sitting in the dining room watching Niall play with legos on the floor.

"Legos?" I question as I sit down on Louis' lap.

"Yes, they are the best." Niall says as he connects a blue piece to a green piece.

"Ooo, put that one there." Louis says and points it out to Niall. Louis places his arms tightly around my waist.

"Do you wanna go to Panera with me?" I ask him. He kisses my cheek and nods.

"Yay!" I say excitedly and kiss his nose. "I gotta get dressed then."

I hike back up the stairs and into my room. Ok, so the weather has been like really bipolar lately. Yea, yesterday was cold for most of the day. Today, however, is hot. I grab my boyfriend jeans and my daisy strap white tank. I slip on the clothes and head back downstairs to find Louis waiting for me.

"Ready?" He asks. I nod.

"Where are you two going?" Liam asks walking into the foyer.

"Panera." Louis states simply. Liam smiles.

"Have fun." He says and walks away. I smile and follow Louis out the door.

"So how are you love?" He asks as we drive to the restaurant.

"I'm doing ok." I tell him with a genuine smile.

"Glad to hear it." He says and takes my hand.

"What about you?" I ask.

"As long as you're ok I'm ok." He says.

"As sweet as that is, how are you really?" I question looking over at his perfect face.

"I really am good, Aud. I'm doing great." He says. I smile and play with his fingers.

"You really seem unusually happy for a girl who wanted to move away just this morning." He says.

"Yea, I talked it our with Liam. It was just a stupid thought. I mad a big deal about it it wasn't important at all." I tell him.

"Ok." He says and turns into the parking lot. We get out and head inside. After ordering our food we take a seat at a table in the corner.

"I'm starving." I mumble.

"Well yea you haven't eaten anything all day." Louis reminds me.

"Since when are you keeping track of what I eat." I giggle. He smiles.

"Well it's not that hard considering you hadn't been downstairs until you asked me if I wanted to go." He smirks. I nod and take a sip of my water. Eventually our food comes and we eat it in a comfortable silence.

"So once again everything between you and Liam is ok again?" Louis asks as we walk out the door. I nod.

It's more than just ok.

Wait. Are we actually together or was it just a simple pointless kiss to remember pointless feelings? He was or is my best friend. We can't date. That would just be weird. Or would it?

"What are you thinking about, Aud?" Louis questions me.

"Nothing" I tell him, lying.

"Ok, whatever you say." He says. I giggle and watch as we drive home. Home. I like being able to say that. Instead of flat or apartment. It's actually a home. I like it.
