Its Time

"Elenor darling! It's time for breakfast! I made your favorite!" Mom yelled from downstairs. I swam downstairs into the kitchen. I faked a smile I hated this. Why was I born as a Siren? I looked down on my plate. Rainbow Trout with a side of clams. I ate quietly, as my mom spoke. "After breakfast I will show you the ocean, then I will show you how to attack the humans." I felt sick to my stomach, I can't believe I'm going through with this. I finished up and headed outside with my mom. "Over here are some Clownfish and Blue tang swimming." She showed me some other stuff, I was quite bored. I wonder what I'm going to do when it's time. "Now it's time for the killing." My mom said, breaking my thoughts. I followed my mother up to the surface we were looking around for people when we found a man on a boat by himself. She swam up to the border of the boat and they talked for a bit. Then she sang. "My heart is pierced by cupid..." she sang some more pulling him into the water without him noticing. Then, when his head was in the water she bit him. After that, she pulled him off the boat, flipping it over. She drowned him.
