Today was the day we were going to sample the food from Hotel Bel Air. It was November 1st, which meant that the wedding is in a little over a month. Oh my god.

Shawn and I were meeting Diane at the hotel in a few minutes. We were in the car on the way to the beautiful Hotel Bel Air.

     "I can't believe we're getting married in a little over a month." I said.

"Me too, but I can't wait to finally be married to you." Shawn said.

     I smiled. "I love you."

     "I love you too."

Then we arrived at the hotel. Diane was waiting for us at the front. We got valet so we were able to meet her right away.

"Hi Diane!" Shawn and I said.

"Hey guys. Who's ready to sample food?"

We laughed and walked inside. I was immediately in love with the hotel. It was smaller but it was absolutely perfect.

"We're sampling food in the ballroom where you guys will have the wedding reception. So you'll get to scope out the reception area as well." Diane explained.

"Sounds good." I said as we were walking to the ballroom.

"Here's the ballroom." Diane said as we approached two huge, nice doors. She opened them and Shawn and I followed her inside.

"It's beautiful," I began. "In my opinion, I wouldn't have a problem with it being in here but it's up to Shawn too because we are in this together." I held up his hand.

"I like it. Now to sample the food." Shawn said. "And I'm glad you like it to, babe." Shawn kissed my hand and chills ran up my spine. Even though we're engaged, he still manages to put butterflies in my stomach.

"Have a seat over here. I took note of what you were interested in, so here are some dishes." Diane said.

"Can we have a vegetarian option as well? Like maybe a soup and salad?" I asked. "I know we'll have some vegetarian guests.."

"Of course. We have that available upon their request. We have some pasta dishes available as well."

I took a small bite of the first dish. The description on the card next to it said "chicken alfredo". It tasted really good.

"What do you think?" I asked Shawn. He had the same dish that I had.

"I think this should definitely be an option on the menu." Shawn said while he was still chewing.

     "Me too."

I took a small bite of the next option which read "stuffed pasta shells". I was immediately in love.

     "DEFINITELY." I shouted.

     "TOTALLY." Shawn replied.

"We have one more dish for you." Diane said. The dish read "spaghetti and meatballs".

After a bite I opened my mouth to speak: "I like this too."

"Yeah I think we agree for all of these options to be available." Shawn said.

"Awesome! And we have like anything you could imagine for drinks, so we have the food and rinks, venues, guest lists, cake, pretty much everything is taken care of besides the decorations." Diane said.

"Wow. It's only November 1st and it sounds like we could get married right now if we wanted to." I laughed.

"Haha." Diane said. "I have the minister taken care of as well. WAIT, music! What about the wedding music?!?"

"Can we have a DJ?" Shawn and I asked.

"Sure. I know just the wedding DJ. I'll call him when I get home. Other than that it's just decorations. What kind are you looking for?"

"What would you like Shawn?" I asked.

"Maybe a mix of traditional and modern." Shawn said. "If that makes sense."

"I like that idea too." I said.

"Perfect, I know exactly what you're looking for." Diane said. "And you have the dress and tuxedo right?"

"Yeah we have designers for that and we have our makeup artists." I explained.

"Hailee, I don't think you need a makeup artist. You are beautiful just the way you are." Shawn said.

I couldn't take the sweet comments anymore without kissing him, so I immediately put my lips on his and put my hand on his face. Then I pulled away and was still looking at him. "Sorry Diane." I laughed. Then I turned to her.

"Sounds like we're all good for December 11th!" Diane exclaimed.

"Yay!" Shawn and I exclaimed together.

"I even booked the room for the wedding night here, and then I booked the hotel in Paris!" Diane said.

"Awesome! I really can't wait!" Shawn exclaimed.

     "Me too!" I jumped in.

Diane, Shawn and I walked out together and went back to our separate cars. Now we just wait until December 11th...
