i really can't believe im doing this...

beep beep...beep "Hello ?"

"hey artemis ..it's Ravager UH I MEAN AMBER "

there was i long pause on the phone ..did she hang up ? ugh amber just end the phone you don't need this just end the phone and lock yourself in your room tonight NO

"to what do i owe this phone call" i could even hear her smirk over the phone so i just roll my eyes

"i can't believe im doing this but..i need your help ..for tonight" there was a long pause on the phone again and it really started to bug me i was about to snap at her until she spoke up

"5 o'clock me and zatanna will pick you up in front of wayne manor be ready "

"ok by-"

"oh and amber "

"yeh ?"

"don't bring a gun"

"..fine"

beep beep beep

i flop down on my bed ,a million thoughts going through my head like the dinner tonight ,i mean how am i supposed to sit for 3 hours with all of them i mean being around them for 10 minutes drives me insane and now i have to sit and probably be taunted bye Dick and his dumb date ,what if i just don't go i mean i could just go out on patrol tonight ,stopping mugger's does a lot more than entertaining the team ...

Knock Knock Knock

im pulled out of my thoughts bye the sudden knock at the door i don't bother getting up to check who it is because only one person has got the guts to knock on my door and that's alfred and it's usually just to give me fresh towels or change the bed sheet's but i always give him the same reply 

"just leave them at the door alfred ,thanks"

there is a slight shuffling and then footsteps walking away i swing my self up of the bed and head out the door towards the kitchen where i see alfred checking over a list to be honest there was a slight panic on his face as his eye's scanned the huge list 

"you ok ?" i ask trying not to startle him out of his thoughts bt it doesn't really work since he jump's anyway before looking up at me

"oh- i -y - yes im fine just checking the list for tonight " he gives me a half smile but the panic is basically written on his wrinkled forehead ,i raise my eyebrow's at him as i lean over the kitchen island and peer at the list my eye's widen in shock as i see 3 pages of food,accessories and dry cleaning

"alfred you can't do all this in 5 hour's "

his fake smile fall's and he sighs "no i believe not miss amber rose "

i sigh and roll my eyes a tad i obviously have no other choice than to help even if i really don't want to 

"hey i'm heading into town anyway if you want i could get some of the thing's while i'm there and save you the trip so you can do whatever else you need to do" i say as i push my hair back bye running my hand thru it he look's like he was thinking about saying no until he looked back up at me ,ripped a page out of the notepad and handed it to me ,i roll my eyes as i smile at him and make my way to the huge double doors until i'm stopped by someone leaning in the frame of the dining room 

"if i do remeber correctly bruce never said you could take any of his car's AND you don't have a american driver's license" i could feel his smirk digging into the back of my head as i stand frozen in front of the door's ,i clench my fist's and grit my teeth together
