Chapter 1~The Beginning

Court realized she was lost, she also realized that her brother would probable be coming soon to look for, but decided against going back for the moment.The thing she was following looked nothing like anything Court had ever seen it walked on 2 legs like but in stature it looked like a girl but the quickness in their step made it next to impossible to tell.

Suddenly a large metal trap swung down from the trees ahead of her and Court dived behind a tree. and struggled to get a good you view.
After shifting places for a few second she found a hole in the various shrubs and looked at the commotion going on. Turns out the thing running was a girl and she was now stuck in the steel trap whimpering and calling for someone named Jai li. Finally man walks away with his back to Clary as the trap starts to move. Oh no that's blood , Court turned her face to the side to side looking for the man who killed Clary, or at least Court thought he did. She turned around to see the man behind her with a damp cloth in his hand.
