{Niall’s POV}

I stood at the door of Harry’s bathroom hearing the sound of what seemed to be him singing and froze. I listened closely letting the lyrics sink in and stood there listening to every word closely.

They don’t know about the things we do
They don’t know about the I love you's
But I bet you if they only knew
They would just be jealous of us
They don’t know about the up all nights
They don’t know I've waited all my life
Just to find a love that feels this right
Baby they don’t know about
They don’t know about us

I couldn’t fight the smile that was rising to my face and looked down at my hands. I shook my head and rose my hand to knock on the door just as it opened. I watched as Harry’s eyes widened with surprise and I let my hand drop back to my side. I looked down at my feet and whispered slightly.

“Hi Harry”

He gulped slightly looking down at me since I was shorter than him by, well a lot. I took a deep breath before looking up at him seeing his beautiful green eyes looking at me. I could tell he was still surprised to see me, hell I was rather surprised that I came here.

“I should let you get dressed” I said taking a step back and turning away from him

“N-Niall, wait” Harry said grabbing my wrist pulling me back to his somewhat wet chest. I looked up at him again and he just held me there. I didn’t know what to do in this instant. Do I hug him back? Or do I just stand here. I shook my head at either choices and pushed him back softly.

“I’ll be downstairs” I whispered walking towards the door and exiting quickly. I really wanted to see Harry and I’ll admit that but seeing him hurts still. I don’t know if I can honestly sit down and have a conversation with him yet. I don’t even think my dad wanted me to see him when I came here. I left Sky at the house with my mum to come see Harry which may or may not have been the best idea for me to do.

“Niall sweetie” I heard Anne say from the kitchen. I walked in and smiled at her. No matter what me and Harry are going through Anne is like my second mother. I love her to bits.

“Yes Anne?”

“Are you alright? With being back in this house I mean” she said handing me a cup of tea. I nodded not wanting to answer the question verbally. I sipped on the tea in hopes of avoiding answering the question at all and set the cup down on the table. I was guessing by the question Anne knew what had happened between Harry and I. I’m not surprised Anne is a very smart woman even if Harry hadn’t told her she would have figured it out.

“I’m Harry’s mother and no I’m not going to say what he put you through was in anyway alright but I will tell you this, he loves you. I know that based on these past few weeks that may be hard to believe but I know my son. He doesn’t think properly when he’s hurt; all he wants to do is make it go away. He doesn’t handle losing what he loves well. Hence why he acted out when I kicked his father out. Harry’s never understood how to handle things like that well. I won’t say that you need to go back to him, but I know that you two need each other more than you both may think.” She rested her hand on my knee and gave me a small smile. She looked up making me turn around and of course that’s were Harry was standing.
