It's All Downhill from Here

Before I get to my current trouble I guess I'll start with how I got here. It all started in 2004. I was working at a factory and injured my shoulders. The doctor said it was tendonitis and bursitis. I went to another doctor for cortisone shots and he botched it. He ended up doing even more damage. At the time I didn't know that I could sue for malpractice. For all I knew, he did it right and I just had a bad reaction. By the time I found out that he'd done it wrong it was too late.

Anyway, I was in pain all the time because of that. I told my supervisor about it but she didn't care. She'd had it in for me since I started the job. I never found out why she didn't like me but then she never seemed to like anyone.  She kept putting me on jobs that she knew would aggravate the condition. The agony in my shoulders eventually got so bad that I couldn't move quickly anymore. I was terminated because I could "no longer meet production standards". In other words, I was going too slow and I couldn't get out the assigned amount of parts.

Since then I've had a succession of cleaning jobs, since I can no longer do factory work. Each one was worse than the last and has hurt me even worse. Mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing really hurts me because I have to move my arms so much. Even emptying out trash cans hurts me. My shoulders pop and I can feel the bones grinding together in the joints every time I move. It feels like shards of glass in there moving around.
