"Reggie what the hell do you want?" I said crossing my arms. He kissed his teeth. Reggie is one of the biggest player in New York and he has been trying to get with me since we were little kids. "Damn why the attitude, U?" He said looking at me up and down. "What Reggie damn." I said getting irritated. "Can you braid my hair after school?"

I thought about how mom told me to come back home and leave with my grandma. "Not after school." I said looking at him. "Tomorrow?" He rubbed the back of his head. "It gotta be some time today," I started walking and he walked with me. "I'm moving today so what about after 6th period." I said continuing to walk, he stopped.

"What you mean you moving?" I stopped walking and turned to him. "Like I just said jet I'm moving." I laughed. "You staying in Brooklyn doe right?" He said grabbing my wrist. "I'm moving to Chicago sucker." I started walking but he pulled me back. "Are you serious, Chicago?! Why you moving down there?" He said looking upset.

"My mom wants me and my sister to live with our aunt until things get settled now anymore questions?" I  started walking again and this time he followed me. "So you just gonna leave me in New York by myself?" He asked me, I made a silly face. "What you mean by yo self you got Ryan." I laughed. "You know what I mean Nqi," He sighed. "Unique you know I mean you the only girl that I want."

"Boy you got all these hoes-" He stood in front of me stopping me from walking again, he held my wrist. "Fuck the hoes I want a us." I looked down at our hands. "Yeah that "us" you talking about not going to happen kiddo." I got out his grip and started walked again I could feel him staring at me but I just kept walking.

The high school I go to is downtown so I have to take the train everyday and surprisingly today the train was on time and I didn't have to wait.
