Liam's & Steffy's regret and forgiveness

Steffy:"Liam what did you remember". Steffy was getting nervous the look on Liam's face tell her this is not good but she have to know what it is, it's the only way they can get through it.

Liam:" You have sex with Wyatt Steffy".

Ok Steffy was confused as hell right now, of course she have sex with Wyatt they were married for Christ sake, she decided the best way to work through this is to stay calm, she look at him, really look at him to make sure he know what he's saying, the look in his eyes tell her that he's dead serious about what he's saying. " Yes Liam I slept with Wyatt, have you forgot we are married".

Liam:"No I haven't forgot I know you slept with him when you guys were living together, what I meant to say is, you cheat on me with Wyatt. That same night I came home from Australia I met you in our bed, in your underwear laying in wyatt's arms". How could she do this to them after all they have been through to get where they were, she cheat on him.

Liam didn't even know if he can forgive her for that, he have hold her at a higher standard than the rest of the women he have been with. He wasn't even gone for a day and she jump in bed with his brother of all people. Liam lift his eyes to look at her, she was looking at him as if he's the one that betray her.

Liam was getting more and more angry as the silence goes on. " Don't you have nothing to say for yourself Steffy" still she wasn't saying anything. " Talk to me damnit" Liam shouted " Tell me why you slept with my brother in our bed of all places.

Steffy couldn't believe what she was hearing, how can Liam accused her of cheating on him with his brother and if he find them in bed what kind of a man walk back out the door without confronting them. " Liam I haven't cheated on you with Wyatt, I never did".

Liam: "OH MY GOD! Are you seriously lying to my face right now, Steffy I saw you with my two eyes and you telling me that you didn't cheated on me with my brother".

Steffy patience was running out but she going to be calm because she know how bad it must of looked, she just need to explain to him what happen. " Look Liam let me explain to you what happen, maybe then you will understand why I tell you I never ever cheated on you with Wyatt or anyone else for that matter".

Liam didn't know what to make of this but he have to hear her side of the story, as much as he want to throw her out he owe it to them to see if they can work it out. She have forgiven him over and over again in the past maybe it's time he return that favor. Liam sigh and sit down, " Ok Steffy please explain am listening".

Steffy take a seat opposite to him wandering where to being, she decided to start at the beginning.

Steffy: "When you left with Ivy I was hurt, Wyatt came over to check on me and we were talking about everything that when down. After I got the call from you, I believe that was the end of us, we started to drink some wine one bottle turn into two. I was starting to get lightheaded so I get up to go in, I tell Wyatt I can't do this right now so I leave him on the couch and I went in". Steffy take a deep breathe before she continue," I take off my clothes as am accustom to do every night and climb into bed. I was thinking about the good times we had when all of a sudden Wyatt barge into our bedroom taking off his shirt and telling me we should go for a swim".

"Wait, wait hold on, my asshole of a brother asking my drunk fiancée to go for a swim? Who does something like that? Did he know what could of happen if you went for that swim Steffy? You could of been drown for Christ sake"!

I can't wait to get my hands on that fool that call himself my brother. What kind of brother can he be if he do something like this? Wait why am I surprise after all his mother is Quinn Fuller.

Liam: " ok Steffy go on".

Steffy: " I tell him No, he started to talk about how I deserve better, he asked me what I want, I tell him all I needed is a friend to hold me, he say he can do that, I lie in his arms and we fell asleep, that's all that happen Liam, I never cheated on you, how can you think so low of me?"

No this can't be right, Liam put his head in his hands and sigh he can't believe he almost lost the best thing that ever happen to him because he was being an asshole. How can she ever forgive him after the way he treated her, he don't even know how to forgive himself .

Steffy seen the torment he was going through, she move to sit next to him. She touch him on his arm, when he lift his head to look at her tears fell from her eyes, all his emotions was right there for her to see, he hide nothing from her, it was so raw it shatter her heart in a million tiny pieces. She have to get him to understand it was not all his fault, if she have ask Wyatt to leave none of this would of happen.

Steffy:" Liam listen to me, this is not all your fault, I made a mistake by allowing Wyatt in our bed, and I regret having to put you through that".

Liam: " Steffy I've been cruel to you, I've say things that should of never cross my mind, I regret saying those things to you, it's something I have to live with for the rest of my life. Why didn't I just tell you what I saw? It could of save us all the trouble and the heartbreak. How can you forgive me after this I don't know, I truly don't deserve you".

Steffy: " We both made mistake Liam, the thing is can we get through this, can you forgive me for letting Wyatt into our bed? Can you forgive me for the whole Ivy fiasco?"

Liam: " Those things are nothing to forgive, the way I treat you were horrible, if you can forgive me then we can work through everything else".

Steffy heart was full of love for this man, they have both made mistakes but that doesn't mean they can't forgive each other. Steffy look deep in Liam's eyes and all the love she fell for him made there way to the surface. " let me see who can stop me from forgiving you, I love you Liam Spencer and yes I forgive you but promise me we won't let things get this far in the future".

Oh god what did I do to deserve this beautiful woman. " I promise you whenever we have a problem we will work it out together, am really sorry for the way I treated you. I love you too Steffy more today than yesterday and I'll spend the rest of my life making it up to you".

Liam held onto her for a long time, afraid if he let go of her he will wake up to find that it's a dream but No it was real, she was here back in his arms where she belong. He made a silent promise to never hurt her that way or any other way ever again. This is their chance to get it right, to start their future together, this is forever.
