Normani's pov "But do you like me." Was all Lauren said for me to get her attention. I looked at her dead in the eyes and I knew she wasn't lying about liking me. "Yes Lauren I like you, I've liked you since I've first met you." When I said that she sighed in relief. "Ha you owe me 20 bucks." "She ain't even ask her yet so ha." Me and Lauren stopped out conversation to hear them. It looked like Lauren was about to say something before they interrupted us. "Ok well ask I was going to say mani was if you would like to go out on a date with me on Friday." I nodded my head and hugged her tight. We heard ally groan and Dinah laugh. " did y'all really bet to see if Lauren would ask me out." "Yes we did and I won." Dinah was smirking and m and Karen cuddled the whole entire movie. The movie ended and Dinah and ally were leaving. I stayed to talk to Lauren. I walked over to the couch and straddled her lap. She put her hands on my waist as soon as I landed. "Well umm... I wanted to ask you if I could take you somewhere," Lauren asked shyly. She is never shy so I'm curious. I nodded my head and she told me to get my jacket. "Can we go get something to eat and then go back to yours. *skips car ride* "Hello ladies what can I do for you." "Can we get a table for two please." He nodded and showed us to our table. "Your waitress will be right here." 'Oh lord it's a girl I hope she doesn't hit on my girl' I thought in my head. I saw the waitress come over and she was already eying Lauren up. "Hi ladies what could I start you off with," she said staring right at Lauren. "Babe what do you want." "Umm whatever you get is fine" "ok, umm I'll get a root beer please." When Lauren looked up and made eye contact with the waitress she looked down and blushed then walked away. Lauren must have saw I was mad because she grabbed my hand and whispered 'it's okay. She came back with our drinks and we ordered our food. Once it came out she gave us our check. Lauren looked at the check and saw that it had a number on it. The girl was still standing there. "Umm, Miranda why did you give me this." "So you can call be one day," she said while smirking at me. Lauren looked at me and said "why would I call you when I have a smoking hot date right now," Lauren said before paying the check leaving tip and walking out hand and hand with me.
