Normani's pov

It's been 3 months since the incident and Lauren is still in a coma. They were thinking about pulling the plug later that day. So i went to go visit Lauren and sat in the chair next to her bed. I grabbed her hand and started speaking. "Baby this is my fault. I should have let you talk to me and not let you walk away. If I wasn't mad at you because of the whole Lucy thing this wouldn't have happened. You wouldn't be in a coma. We would be at home cuddling and not in this situation. I'm sorry baby, please don't leave me. I couldn't imagine living another day without you by my side. You are my life and my everything and I don't know what i would do if you weren't there for me. To pick me up when I'm falling. To tell me i'm beautiful everyday. I couldn't do it. I know i led this to happening and I know you were only trying to protect your best friend but don't leave us hanging. Not today, not tomorrow not ever. So do your best friends and your girlfriend a favor and not leave us. You still got a whole life to live. Don't forget that." After I said that I wiped my tears, kissed Lauren's forehead, and walked towards the door. I was about to walk out when I heard that raspy voice I've been attracted to since forever. "Don't leave now babe." I turned around and I saw her beautiful emerald eyes and ran over to give her a hug. "I'll go get the doctor real quick. I ran to go get Lauren's doctor and quickly came back.
"Ah glad to see you up and alive Ms. Jauregui," the doctor said while walking into the room.
"What made you decide you wanted to wake up," she said while getting her notes out.

"Umm I don't know. I think while in this coma and listening to what Mani said it really got to me and I said I can't do this anymore. She put her feelings out their for me and I couldn't take it anymore."

"Mmmhhh. Ok. And what key thing did Normani said to me was that what she started off saying. She said this was her fault. But I know it wasn't. It was all mine, if I never messed with my ex when she came back I wouldn't be laying in this hospital bed for like four months."

"Mhmm. Ok. That's all for today I will send the nurses in here to check up on you and they will tell you when you are clear to go home." Lauren nodded and then I placed my head on her stomach.

"Babe I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"Look. I'm really sorry for ignoring you and stuff. I was just really- *bang bang* is what interrupted me. It was the door. I walked over and opened it and two cops were standing at the door. "Is this Ms. Jauregui's room."

"Yes sir. May I ask why you two are here."

"We need to talk to Ms. Jauregui about what happened that night. We have Ms. Hansen's story we want to see if Ms. Jauregui's story matches Ms. Hansen's story." I nodded and got up to leave.

Lauren's pov
"Ok Ms.Jauregui, Ms.Hansen said that her and her boyfriend had an argument and then he started beating her up and she said u walked through the door saw her and started trying to get Dinah's boyfriend away from her and she said u knocked him out is that correct," I nodded and he continued. "Ok then she said that you were trying to help her up but then you got hit in the back of the head and then he ran out. So can you tell us your story."

"Yes. So I got into a fight with my girlfriend earlier that day and she wouldn't talk to me so I decided I was going to take a ride. I got on my motorcycle and drove but I ended up at Dinah's house. So since I have a key I went in and there was Dinah's boyfriend beating her up. Since I'm protective of my friends I pushed him off of her and punched him which knocked him out. Then I went over to Dinah and since she was bloody and everything I was gonna carry her outside and then call the police cause I thought he would still be knocked out. But when I tried to pick her up I felt pain in the back of my head and everything go dark. And now here I am 3 months later."

"Do you know the name of the man who did this."

"Yes I do sir. His name is Siope Folau."

"Thank you ma'am. Your story's are the same so no one is lying and we can get Siope in jail." I nodded and they left. Mani came running into the room."

"Damn babe. Calm down."

"How the fuck am I supposed to calm down when you left me and was in a coma for 3 fucking months."

"O so now you wanna blame this shit on me," I rolled my eyes at her and turned by back to her.

"Ugh. Babe I'm sorry. I just felt lonely these past couple of months. And me finding out you are a vampire. To finding out Lucy wants to kill me just so she can have you. It's just been hard for me. I know it's not your fault if i had talked to you about it and not shut you out u wouldn't be here. I'm such a bad girlfriend."

I turned around and saw tears coming out of her eyes. I lifted her chin and looked in her eyes. "Babe. You are not a bad girlfriend. You are the best. Babe I'm so lucky I have you cause you are the best thing that happened to me. Well aside from meeting Dinah and Ally. But anyway you are the love of my life. I don't know what I would do without you. Never say u are a bad girlfriend ever. I love you baby."

She nodded and hugged me. "I love you too."
