P.O.V- Taryia
Everything was fuzzy. She could hear voices in the distance, but they were far away and unintelligible. She could only hear the thoughts in her head. She lay in whatever place she was in, helpless and lonely. Only able to barely comprehend the outside world.
Her body was stiff and unresponsive. Her limbs didn't respond to her mental commands. She was starting to get worried, where was Cole? Was he alright? Her thoughts finally settled on one, where am I?
After a few hours of laying there feeling paralyzed, she was finally able regain some movement in her limbs. Still not enough to get up and walk, but certainly enough to speak. Everything was more clear now, and the voices she could understand.
"Hello? Is any around?" She yelled although she instantly regretted it because there might be enemies in the area. A door opened nearby, and since she couldn't turn her head she didn't know where it came from. A female dwarf came into her vision.
"Um I thought dwarves didn't like the forests?" She asked bewildered.
"Oh we don't, but we're not in the forests," the dwarf said.
"Then where are we?" She again questioned.
"Well we are inside of the Aldrich Mountains," the dwarf said gesturing around the room. Taryia looked around, from her limited view, in disbelief. "Oh and my name is Crystal."
"How did I get her," Taryia said still looking around the room.
"Well some wretched human brought you here, but we locked him up. He is going on trial tomorrow," Crystal said nonchalantly.
"What!" She yelled.
"Hm?" Crystal said looking at her incredulously.
"Oh I'm just really excited. Can I go tomorrow?" She said trying to cover up the slip she made. She mentally face palmed herself for forgetting dwarves hate humans.
"Sure I bet Boulder would love that!" She said clapping her hands excitedly.
"I'll just need to get her a dress, and find her a better place to sleep," Crystal mumbled to herself tapping her chin with her index finger.
"I know! You can stay in one of the extra palace rooms. I hope you'll like it," Crystal said excitedly.
"How do you know the royal family will let me stay there?" Taryia asked.
"Because I'm a member of the royal family," Crystal said proudly. Only then did Taryia start to see the royal features present in Crystal.
Her hair was pitch black with no other color present. Her eyes were diamond colored, and her skin was a creamy tan. Above her left eye was the insignia of the royals dwarves, a curly line with a diamond at the end all the lines differed from dwarf to dwarf (they still have to be royal though). Her dress was black accented with diamonds, and a flower made of diamonds at her hip.
"Thank you," was all she could stutter before she fell asleep again.
This time when she woke she was in an actual room and not some stuffy infirmary. She got out of bed, and dots danced before her eyes. She stumbled and had to use the bedpost for support. What is wrong with me. The effects of the flowers should have worn off by now. She thought her head pounding, and her vision still full of the black spots. She tried to walk again, but when she took a step she crumpled and let out a yell. People came rushing into the room, most of them were dressed in brown or white signaling that they were either doctors or servants. The ones in white ordered the servants that were their to lift her onto the bed, and lay me out so they could take a look at me. One doctor in specfic took charge and ordered all the servants and other doctors to leave. Her head was still pounding, but the black spots were gone and she was finally mostly alone.
