After his time with the the starters; Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur, Pikachu is once again reunited with Ash, and the whole group resume their journey.
"There's the gym!" Ash exclaimed, unable to contain the excitement.
As the group are about to approach the gym, the group hears a quick "whoosh" and realize that Pikachu has once again gone missing. Ash, Brock and Misty start lookin around for him, when Brock looks up and sees him.

Pikachu, already at an extremely high altitude, begins slipping in and out of consciousness, the lack of oxygen affecting the small Pokémon, until, after a long struggle, Pikachu succumbs to full unconsciousness.
Once Pikachu starts coming around, he notices that he is laying on a large rock, then as his vision starts slowly coming into focus, he sees that he is in a cave, and he starts moving around, then hears a soothing voice behind him, saying, "Ah, so you're finally awake."
Pikachu turns around and sees the massive bird that had taken him away earlier and said, "P-please don't eat me."
"Eat you?" The bird replied. "I don't eat Pokémon."
"Then why am I here?" Pikachu asked.
"Word of your, shall we say, experiences gets around fast around here." The Pokémon replied. "I don't get to see very many Pokémon."
"But I don't even know your name," Pikachu said.
"Oh sorry, I forgot. I got too excited having you here. I am Ho-Oh." Ho-Oh replied.
"I've heard about you before." Pikachu replied. "You're one of the legendary Pokémon."
"That's right," Ho-Oh replied. "But being legendary doesn't mean I don't get desires, and well, that's why I've brought you here, because I thought you might be able to help me satisfy those desires."
"I'd be more than happy to. Next time though, please don't just take me away from my trainer." Pikachu said.
"Wait, next time?" Ho-Oh questioned.
"Well, if you want there to be a next time," Pikachu replied, the tone of his voice turning the much larger Pokémon on.
Instead of replying, Ho-Oh gently picked Pikachu up with her right wing, lifting him up until his head was level with hers. She then very gently planted her beak on Pikachu's lips and they began to kiss, taking turns exploring each other's mouths with their tongues, slowly moving them around inside, before Ho-Oh broke off the kiss, placing Pikachu back down on the ground.
Standing right in front of her, Pikachu was now able to fully appreciate the sheer size of Ho-Oh. She towered over him, even while she was sitting on the ground. He walked right up to her, pressed his body against hers and began kissing her lower body.
