Chapter 6

I stood beside Carl as he threw the darts towards the board, each one hitting the wall, but it was closer than last time.  Last time he was practicing he almost hit me in the forehead(I almost typed 'I almost lost an eye'.. oops.).

"Don't worry, Carl. You'll get better I, I promise." I said with a small smile as I hugged from behind him.

"Y/n, It's not going to get better. I can't even hit the target." Carl sighed as he put the darts down.

"But you're hitting the wall and not my forehead this time. That's improvement." I said and he gave a light chuckle making me smile.  We saw Michonne and Rick kiss just before Rick left and Michonne followed right after.

"Carl, change your bandages, and be nice to Olivia." She said as she opened the door to leave.

"You know we can't win like this." Carl said and she turned back.

"Your dad thinks so."

"But you don't." 

"It doesn't mean we can't." With that she left and I turned to Carl.

"Hey, it's okay.  We'll make it through this." I said and he nodded as he kissed me lightly and I smiled and kissed back just before he pulled away.  He looked out the window and squinted with a confused look showing on his face.  I looked out and followed his gaze.

"Is that Enid?" He asked and I nodded.  Enid and I have been talking more and getting along a lot more, but were not "best friends".  I walked out side with Carl and over to Enid.

"You're leaving again?" Carl asked angrily making me a bit jealous.

"I'll be fine." Enid said as she kept climbing.

"Enid, it's dangerous." Carl said.

"Carl, I'll be fine. I have better aim than you." She said and my face changed into a glare.

"Enid!" I yelled defending Carl, who obviously had a hurt expression.

"I didn't mean it like that." Enid said quickly.

"Whatever, I'm not helping you this time." Carl said as he walked away and I turned back to Enid.

"I get that you still like him, but that's not how you show it." I said before turning back and following Carl into the house.

"Carl, you know she didn't mean it." I said and he turned.

"You're helping her now?" He said angrily.

"I'm not helping her, I just don't want something to happen like last time." I said and he turned with a sad face.  "Carl, you know we need to help her. I don't like having to constantly save her either, but it's the right thing to do." I said and he nodded.

"Shit." I said as I saw the two walkers, Carl was driving the car and I was riding beside him in the passenger seat. "Okay, you go I'll get the one behind us." I said and he nodded.  I took out my (weapon ex. bow, katana, knife, gun) and aimed for the walkers head and quickly killing it.

"Need a ride?" I heard Carl ask as I turned and saw him looking at Enid.  She nodded and got in the front seat, taking my place and making me sit in the back.  The ride was silent, I couldn't talk to Carl without Enid eavesdropping, I knew she still liked him so it made it even harder.

"What do we do when we get there?" I asked and Carl and Enid both shrugged.

"I'll go in and see Maggie, since it was my idea." Enid said and Carl nodded, You guys can do what ever you want after." It wasn't long until we got there, we went and hid in the tears to make sure no one saw us.  

"I'll go check for walkers and people." I said and they nodded.  I walked around the trees and didn't see any so I kept going, I didn't see anyone who looked like they were a threat to us.  The whole time I wondered if leaving Carl and Enid alone was a good idea. I knew she still liked him, which I don't blame her for, but I'm worried about Carl.  He's been getting closer to her and it worries me.

You guys are going to hate me for this but don't worry, it'll work out.

I went back to where we were in the trees and saw something I didn't want to see; Enid and Carl were close to each other, their lips almost touching and they were saying things in whispers that I couldn't hear. I was waiting to see Carl pull away but he didn't, him and Enid slowly kissed and I felt tears behind my eyes as I watched.  As they pulled away from each other my glare became colder.

As Enid left to Maggie Carl turned to me and guilt, worry, sadness, and almost every other emotion was shown on his face.

"Y/n, I-" I cut him off.

"Carl, how could you kiss her?" I said sadly, my hard expression breaking and tears fell down my face.

"I- I didn't mean to, I promise." Carl said sadly and I chuckled.

"Carl, you kissed her, I watched you lean in to kiss her.  How could you do that to me, especially now?" I started, "My dad is gone with Neegan, I have no real family left to talk to, and now my boyfriend kissed another girl after close to what? Probably almost a year?"

"Y/n, please." Carl begged  and it looked like there were tears in his eyes.

"Save it Carl." I said and I walked towards the Hill Top.

"Where are you going?"

"Away from you." I said and he followed after me.

"Y/n, you can't go. You won't make it back." Carl argued.

"Why do I need to, you have Enid now, right." I said as I kept going, "I'll come back. But not for you." I said without turning to him as I kept walking.

When some of the Saviors were getting half the stuff I climbed into the truck and hid in the back until I felt the truck moving again.  I was going to get my dad back.  
I was still heart broken and in disbelief about Carl, but this helped me leave.

I was sitting alone until I saw someone jump into the truck.  I looked up and saw Jesus in a crouched position. (Guys, my friend just saw me type that sentence and she's so confused!)

"Hey." I said and he looked up and smirked.

Okay guy, so so sorry this was so late. I had such bad writers block then thing about the kiss (I hated that so much). So sorry guys.
