I saw a tear roll down her beautiful face.
"Y/N, don't cry for me, if anything you'll be scared the most of me because........because....." I stared.
"Because what?" She asked looking at me with her caring E/C eyes.
"Because.......I....I chose you, Y/N........To be my mate........"
"You wha...? YOU HUH!?" She said shocked.

"But why me? Why not Lucy? You've known her longer and-" I cut her off by grabbing her hands. She looked at me. We stared into each others eyes like we did when we met.
"Because that one day we met, I felt a spark between us. I love the way you laugh and when you smile it makes me weak. When you're in pain I want to take that pain from you. When you cry I want to cry for you. When you're happy, I'm happy too. I want to be with you Y/N......And I hope you feel the same way...." Y/N stared at me with tears in her eyes. I wiped them away with my thumbs.
"When I'm around you I get all nervous but I want to stay with you, Natsu. When you smile it makes my day, but when you're hurt I want to heal you. When you're sad I want to be sad for you. Natsu........I love you...." By now Y/N and I were blushing like mad.
"I do feel exactly the same way, Natsu" She said. I moved in closer to her face until our foreheads touched. I whispered to her.
"I love you Y/N.....Will you be my mate?" Tears of happiness streamed down her face. She whispered back.
"Yes Natsu, I will be your mate" I moved in closer to her face and eventually her warm, soft lips touched mine.

I kissed her. And after about two seconds, she kissed back. I felt her heart pounding, as was mine. After what felt like a bajillion years we broke apart. Y/N just looked at me, then hugged me tight. She was warm and her skin was soft as she hugged me. I gladly hugged her back. I heard her whisper in my ear.
"I love you, Natsu" I whispered back in her ear.
"I love you too, Y/N"

*Never ending Fangirl squeal*
