He was really happy. After Christine accepted Jungkooks offer on being his girlfriend, happiness and joy was all he felt. He knew that it would be hard for him and also for her. Jungkook knew all about the bullying she received ever since they started speaking. He wanted to do everything to protect her but he couldn't. Maybe it was pride, ego or his standing in the school popularity chart. Or maybe he was scared of showing the girls that he has feeling for her. Because everyone knows what would come after that. The hate would grow and spread like a disease. And he knew that it would happen now.

But now he is ready to fight anyone and everyone who shows any kind of dislike towards her or their relationship. He was now her boyfriend and he knew that he had to act like one.

Jungkook had no idea how boyfriends work. Matter of fact he had no idea how love works. He had never had an actual girlfriend, all those girls he dated before were just for looks and fun. After all - the schools most popular guy has to be seen as desirable and so he always needed a girl by his side. But he never actually were with them outside school or bedroom doors. It was all a. But this was real. It's finally time for him to learn to love and be loved. It may be a blessing from above but Jungkook was grateful. 

Jungkook is ready to learn manuals, WikiHows and everything else just to make Christine happy and be a good boyfriend. She deserves the best and he is ready to give his everything to her. He has to do his best or else she would run away or get taken away.

Few days have passed since Jungkook and Christine have been dating and it's been.. well it's been hard. For him but mostly for her. 

It was hard for Jungkook to get used to it. To not flirt with every girl in the school, to be romantic and honest.. but he was trying his best because every day got better and better for him and he felt like the star had aligned and everything is finally going well in his life.

For Christine it was not so sunny. She got so many death threats a day that she has learned not to notice them anymore. It's normal for everyone to hate her since she is dating the most popular guy in the whole school right? That is what she told herself every time and eventually started believing in. Girls from Jungkooks fan club would beat her up after school, do nasty things to her stuff and spread rumors all around school. Most girls would have broken up with the guy long time ago but Christine was too pure and loving for that. She believed that it was her fault and that it all would end eventually. Because she really did love the boy. She wanted to spend her life with him. School was miserable but whenever she had a lesson together with him or they just hanged out on breaks she was happy. She finally felt loved and she wouldn't let immature people like those girls ruin her happiness. 

Jungkook of course didn't know about the mobbing or else he would have already done everything to stop it.

The bell rang and Christine left first, knowing that if she stayed the girls would hit her again. But running away didn't help.

"Where are you going Christine? Are you late for something? The bell just rang!" around 5 girls were chasing her down the hall and calling after her.

"Come on! Don't run! We just want to plaaaay!" One of them snickered.

Christine didn't answer. Instead she fastened her pace.

"I said don't run! Are you deaf or something?" They caught up to her and grabbed her by the collar. "I don't like when people don't do as I say"She punched her stomach.

Jungkook was happily walking out of class when he heard a scream around the corner. He started running towards the noise only to see bunch of people gathering in a circle around some girls. Running closer he saw something that drained the color from his face. It was Christine getting beaten up by some girls he used to "date".

He tried to stop them, to help her but there were so many people he couldn't get through. "STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING??" He shouted, voice braking in the middle. 

Everyone stopped and it became silent. Only the sound of a girl falling to the ground was heard. He quickly rushed towards the girls and grabbed one by the collar. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???" He was shouting so loud it was probably heard through all school. "You better be glad that I have changed because previously I wouldn't care - I would beat you up so bad you wouldn't remember your mothers name" He was barely holding himself back. The people around quickly disappeared leaving only them two in the hallway. The rest of the girls friends had left too. 

"What am I doing kookie? I'm teaching this girl a lesson. She is stealing you away from us! It's not fair!" The girl was crying and acting innocent. 

"Stealing me from you??? I was never yours to begin with! I never loved any of you! I only love her and I always will!" he threw her to the ground where she started crying "You better disappear from my sight forever and don't ever touch her because next time I won't hold back!" He threatened the girl. She nodded vigorously and ran away.

Jungkook crouched down to Christine who has been laying there, unconscious and blood dripping down her nose.

"Oh Christine! Oh my dear lord if only I had known!" He took her in his arm and pressed her against his chest "Why did you keep silent? You stupid girl! This was all my fault! I should have known! I'm so sorry! I'm so so sorry" He cried.

Soon teachers and medics ran to them both. He was still sitting on the ground when the doctors took her away form him and placed on the stretcher. 

"Sir? Can you hear me? Are you alright? Do you want to come with us? We will be taking her to the hospital and you should probably come with us too to get yourself checked." Jungkook didn't answer.

The doctors and teachers left, leaving only Jungkook sitting on the ground in the middle of the hallway, crying.
